Andy Dodd flips to LSU

Andy Dodd gives the Tigers another big body on the interior

LSU's 2013 class continues to grow, this time by 6-foot-4 and 325 pounds.

Lindale (Ga.) Pepperell standout Andy Dodd began his unofficial visit at LSU on Friday, taking a tour of the campus and meeting with coaches.

Though he planned to stay until Sunday, Dodd didn't wait to make his intentions known.

Sources tell Geaux247 that late Friday afternoon, Dodd gave LSU coach Les Miles a verbal pledge to join the 2013 class, moving the Tigers up to 21 commitments - meaning just four spots remain.

Dodd had previously committed to Alabama on March 24, but decided the pledge was a rushed one. After lengthy talks with LSU offensive coordinator Greg Studrawa and other members of the staff, Dodd headed to Baton Rouge with the intention of becoming a Tiger.

Dodd is a four-star prospect and the No. 11 OG in the 2013 class.
