It's seems Miles is intentionally putting Lsu in a RB depth crisis for hopes in the St Aug RB in 14. My question is do you guys have a feel of what his relationship is with the coaches ie Lsu and who would you compare him to past or present?

What do you think LSUs chances are of landing Willis? Do you think this class is done now or add one or two more guys? Where would you rank this class since Miles has been here? I'd put it third behind 2009 (Mingo, Randle) and 2010 (Freak, Jarvis) but I guess time will tell.

If Miles doesn't hire an offensive coordinator do you think that he has agreed to keep his hands out of offensive play calling? He has to see that an adjustment needs to be made and I'm just wondering if you think thats what he will try first???

First off, I would say Miles isn't alone in wanting to go all in on Fournette. Frank Wilson is the position coach and recruiting coordinator and has ties to Fournette and his school. It is as much his call as any.
I think Fournette is going to commit to LSU, and that will give the Tigers a guy who could contribute right away like Jeremy Hill did, but in Fournette you get a more talented back who could be argued as the nation's No. 1 overall prospect in the 2014 class.

Miles will always have an influence in the offensive play calls. He considers that his forte and he wants to operate that pro-style attack with a heavy run game. But the calls throughout the game are still coming from the OC.
I know it worked on defense, but LSU also got an elite coordinator when Miles did step away fully. I can't see the same big hire happen at OC this year. Just my two cents.

Shea man,
With Saban saying that the door is closed on him ever going to the NFL - even the hinges having become worn off - will Coach Hatter now make the jump to the Pro ranks?

Without looking at the classes I think this one will be right up there with the 2009 and 2011.
I still think UCLA has the edge with Willis due to proximity to home but still a lot of time to go to overcome that.

I think they are running about 50/50 now, but think that all of UCLAs influence throughout his process coupled with distance could push the Bruins over the top given LSU just got the one recent official visit. And I agree with you on the ranking, with the bigger question being where does the 2014 class rank once it is complete. Could be the best one yet

Their meetings have been solely focused on recruiting since the bowl game so I don't think any decisions have been made or brought up during the short time since the Clemson game. After signing day they will do some soul searching and a lot of self-scouting so I think that's when you'll hear more about changes unless there are changes on the staff.

I haven't been able to keep up with the boards much, so sorry if this has been talked about, but what is the word on why Faulk decided to go pro? Last I read it didn't seem like he was going to after speaking with Miles. Just seems like a poor decision on his part. He had first round potential and now I just can't see him getting anywhere near the 1st.

Does Collins kick out to tackle with Faulk leaving and Williford starts at guard or is the LT job all Hawkins?

I think they keep Collins at LG as long as Hawkins can show he's ready. He definitely looks the part, and I heard he's come along really well.
