Jordan Mickey has chosen LSU over a slew of offers

Despite a hard press by SMU head coach Larry Brown, and multiple other top programs, Texas power forward Jordan Mickey committed to LSU and first-year coach Johnny Jones on Thursday evening.

After making an official visit to Oklahoma State last week, Mickey welcomed Brown and Jones into his home this week.

By Thursday evening, the Lone Star State standout made his decision and dialed up the LSU staff with the news.

Mickey (6-8, 225) is ranked as the No. 28 player in the country by 247 and the No. 10 power forward in the 2013 class.
