Here are the prospects to watch on the 1A Final.
Haynesville
2014 DB Jerrell Jackson 6-0/175
Ouachita Christian
2014 QB Quin Graves 6-1/181
2014 ATH Akheem Henderson 6-0/180
2014 LB Cade Harper 6-1/225
As far as LSU is concerned, Ouachita Christian's Akheem Henderson and Cade Harper will be evaluated but it's highly doubtful it goes past that point.
Haynesville's Jerrell Jackson looks the part, on the hoof, of an FBS DB and he's one I'm anxious to see.

Pretty uneventful 1st qtr....0-0 and a couple of turnovers by Ouachita Christian has halted two drives in Haynesville territory.

Akheem Henderson with 5 rushes for 41 yards in 1st Qtr playing strictly RB but looks like a WR or DB at the next level.

Ouachita Christian gets on the board 7-0 midway through the 2nd Qtr
Haynesville was driving but a tipped pass ended up getting picked off around the 5-yard line and returned about 80 yards. OCS punched it in after a few runs.

Lot closer than most expected. Goes into the half, 8-7, after Haynesville marched down for a score with less than a minute left in the half and converted the 2-pointer.

Ouachita Christian took the second half opening kick down for a score to make it 14-8 with 7:54 left in the 3rd.

I recall Quin Graves' dad, Sol, was a sought after QB who didn't really get a shot at LSU and probably should have. I think Sol was taller than his son. I also remember what a good DB Quin's grandfather, White Graves, was at LSU. There is some decent genes rolling in the family.
Do not know how good Sol is, but the other two could play.
