LSU is already starting to add to the 2015 class

After hosting Kevin Toliver II on an unofficial visit Saturday night, the LSU staff was able to secure a verbal commitment from one of the Sunshine State's top young players.

Toliver camped at LSU this summer, where the staff was able to work him out at cornerback against some of the elite wide receivers in Louisiana, including Speedy Noil and Trey Quinn.

Toliver II is LSU's first commitment for the 2015 recruiting class.

Some BIG, BIG news for LSU out of Florida...
After hosting Kevin Tolliver II on an unofficial visit Saturday night, the LSU staff was able to secure a verbal commitment from one of the Sunshine State's top young players. He just committed to Miles this afternoon.

Don't know much about Tolliver - but the staff seems high on him and it's nice to break the ice on the 2015 class - GEAUX TIGERS

I know we have discussed this but is there any relation to Terrence? I feel like I remember that they were half brothers or something.

I think he sticks. I met his dad this summer and he's from the New Orleans area and happened to eventually move to Florida. He said all there family is back in Louisiana and Kevin has always wanted to be a Tiger for as long as he's been playing ball. The fact that he has roots in Louisiana, and his dad knows people at LSU and on the staff, makes me feel confident this sticks.

LSU becoming the team of choice for the top recruits in Florida is probably making coaches all over the South a little nervous. If some of the top 2014 Texas guys start dropping the sky is the limit!

Not S/S but he will be a top 100 high 4 star possibly 5 star guy. I think top 5 in Florida. He dominated last summer at the LSU camp as a freshman.

Good to hear the connections to the state and program. Makes me feel better taking a commitment that far out. I cant believe we have a few commits for 2014 already. CFB recruiting has gone insane.

The family in New Orleans is something that will help with keeping this to stick but he is going to be highly, highly recruited and will have all of the big schools in Florida and the SEC coming after him. So enjoy it now and worry later is my advice:)

A definite Top 100 kid and likely higher based on how highly the Florida guys think of him and who have seen him on a more consistent basis.

I think we are fixing to blow up in '13,'14 and '15 recruiting.. We have some catching up to do with Bama especially if they hoist the crystal ball this year, but i feel like we will gain some ground in the next few years

I want to say Toliver is related to a current LSU player. Maybe Mingo but I can't remember.

This is s commitment 27 months before signing day. That just means we are in the lead at the moment. He's a great looking prospect, but no one knows what the coaching staff will even look like on signing day 2015.
