Maquedius Bain has been a silent commitment to LSU since his visit in December

Florida 2013 defensive tackle Maquedius Bain announced on Wednesday at the Under Armour practice that he was committing to LSU.

A DT class of Bain, Gilmore and Lawson is a huge haul for LSU. There is an enormous amout of potential in that position group. If you add in LaCouture, who could still end up playing SDE at LSU, that's an incredible DT class. Just as importantly, having the three guys committed gives LSU some leeway to perhaps keep LaCouture at DE if that's truly his best position. It also gives LSU some breathing room in case one of them doesn't make their grades.
Really, really good job by the staff on the DL this year - at least on paper. Of course, the end result will all come down to how hard the kids work and what kind of motors they have.
