Hayden Rettig has committed to LSU.
LSU has landed its quarterback for the Class of 2013.
Tuesday morning, the Tigers received a verbal commitment from Hayden Rettig (Los Angeles, Calif./Cathedral). He picked the Tigers over Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Boston College, Cal, Fresno State, Houston, Miami (Fla.), Purdue, Rutgers, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Washington State.
Rettig, the nation’s No. 16 pro-style quarterback according to 247Sports, is the younger brother of Boston College quarterback Chase Rettig.
With the commitment, LSU moved to No. 9 nationally in the 2013 team football recruiting rankings from 247Sports.
