Excellent write up Barton.
I am very excited to see what Baker does in his senior year.
Louisiana seems to be loaded in 2014. Especially at RB, I think we might end up taking two.

2014 is going to be ridiculous in Louisiana. A couple of the best are from Northern LA too. I love Cameron Robinson out of Ouachita.

I've heard that 2014 is ridiculous in a lot of places.
Alabama is loaded and just the class as a whole has insane talent.
Louisiana is on pace to have one of the best instate crops in history though.

Very good stuff from Barton. I would venture to say he's spent more time in Louisiana than any other national analyst across the country that's not based there.
If that makes any sense.

Barton is the only national recruiting analyst to really put the time in evaluating La. There are two big events that gets you access to the top players, one is LSUs summer camps, and the other is the state championship games. Barton has been to both every year since he started with rivals, to my knowledge. That along with Sonny and Shea eventually moving here is what will make 247 the best recruiting coverage of any LSU site. I always value Barton's opinions on La kids. He's one of the few that actually goes see them.

I don't know about that. It might be deeper. At this point I don't think it's going to be better at the top of the list. 2011 had Landry, La'El and Freak all as five-stars. And also had Odell Beckham in there, Kenny Hilliard, Jeremy Hill.
I'm giving the nod to '11 but it's still early.

Yes. 2014 is going to be ridiculous in Alabama too. Georgia is already looking strong and Florida is stacked for '14. That is going to be a crazy year to cover.
