Would you say the following list is an accurate list of the in-state kids that LSU does not lead for?
Cameron Robinson -- Alabama/LSU
Hootie Jones -- Alabama/Ohio State/LSU
Gerald Willis -- Florida/A&M/FSU/LSU
Trey Quinn -- A&M/LSU
Garrett Brumfield -- Alabama/FSU/A&M (?? not sure on this one)
And the following kids LSU likely has a lead for:
Proud to support everything Louisiana
Now you can add Texas to Darrel Williams, got invited to their Jr day,we going.Larry porter was at ehret Friday. Says Darrel is the sleeper in the state. Like sonny says gotta get on these kids early. Porter makeing in roads. He s the one who signed all our kids. From drake .Chris Mitchell.
Not worried about Porter making in roads to be honest or him coming back into Louisiana and trying to set up shop again. If Williams wants to go to Texas then so be it, that will be his choice. But looking at the recent past when it comes to RBs, there is only one college comparable in talent to LSU and we play them every year.
Have Darrell take a good look at that crappy OL at TX. They havent had a decent running game since Jamal Charles left.
Not sure u looked at Texas running.back last 2 yrs they signed higher rated kids than both ala,LSU. But don't under estimate porter.
The sky isn't falling, but I would be ecstatic with Willis, another OL, and the list of 7 along with the 3 DBs from Texas to start the 2014 recruiting cycle.
Nothing shady going on in THIBODAUX no E..... the shady stuff was from au boosters and its almost impossible to prove happens ALMOST everywhere,
Higher rated does not mean better player or more production in college by any means; on that note when it comes to college backfields nobody in the nation has had the talent as us and Bama have had the last few years.
Also I don't care one iota what's going on at Texas and who wants to go there to be perfectly honest with you. I think its great your kid is getting some recognition for his talents and I hope he makes the best decision for himself and his family. Speaking of Porter, he might be a decent recruiter but he was a major sleazeball and terrible RB coach when he was here and I am sure not much has changed over the last 4 years.
Cool, not saying one thing or other ,can't criticize porter, don't know him personally, just know that LSU has always had good backs before him, with him, after. As for Darrel got take my feelings for LSU out of it Darryl decision t,not mind,I will tell u this, texas is closeer to.offering before lsu i do know that. anyschool that shows our kids love ,i gotta respect that, hope lsu comes around, but if they dont gotta.do.what u have to do. but,i want bash porter or any coach, they may be my boss before i be thiers one day. but i feel u. and understand.
I would put Gerald Willis in the LSU leads category.
A little work to do on the others but I wouldn't look at one and say LSU is losing this one to this certain school.
And LSU has to offer Sims and McDowell.

So LSU isn't even on Brumfields short list?
+1 Coach Galmore ... I really hope we offer Darrell soon. Him and Cameron Sims are two I hope the coaches get on very soon. As for Darrell his highlight tape is very good and I think he fits our scheme perfectly.
On a side note seeing as I went to and played for Shaw years ago, I think it is great every time a Westbanker shines on the national stage like he is doing. Appreciate the info about his recruitment, please keep it coming.
Sonny, thank you for Willis info. Did Godchaux get an offer?
