Ole Miss is cleaning up right now, Treadwell, Daniel, Moore and Nkemdiche soon to come. How in the hell is Freeze selling Ole Miss to top guys from Indiana and Illinois with offers from everywhere just about?
Paul Mainieri = 358-147 ovr (70.9%), 136-100 SEC (57.6%), 21-10 NCAA (67.7%), 3 CWS App., 2 SEC Titles, 1 National Title
No your crazy. Didn't you hear? That 7 (SEVEN) win season this year means they are a program on the rise. (7 Win Season in case you missed it)
There was a movie that featured him as one of the main characters. I think that may have helped his image.

If a kid scores too high on his ACT raises a red flag with the NCAA, you would think a team that has never accomplished jack, coming off of a 7-win season with a coach who was coaching high school not that long ago while signing some of the nations top notch players would raise that red flag as well. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark or is that Oxford. How does a team in Oxford, MS with a QB like Bo Wallace attract a guy like Laquon Treadwell from Illinois? Hmmmm.
The same thing happened to Auburn a,few years back. They were the hot new thing and all of the five stars were scratching to get in there for early playing time. Obviously there is a chance some shady business is going on but I think that could only be part of it.
I'm sure the kid is legit, but for a 5* he had, depending on your perspective, either the most unusual or unimpressive "favorite" list I can recall for a 5*.
It's almost ironic to me that a school with students who embrace racism so openly can recruit these young black kids.

You must read the comments of some of our Fans on other sits before asking this question!! I really think Shea and Sonny has done a great job of keeping that mess off of here!! I pray that is stays that way because I had to leave that other site!!!
I wondered about that. That's the other scenario that's familiar with such highly rated guys having unusual or unanticipated finalists. You see a 5* from the Midwest and you expect to see the usual Big 10 suspects, Notre Dame and perhaps a Florida or California school. All due respect to the 7 win Rebels of course.
Will Treadwell and Daniels even qualify?
Treadwell has very good grades. Daniel has a very good shot.
As far as Treadwell ending up at Ole Miss he followed HS teammate Standifer. Standifer was committed to UM before they "mutually" went their own way. Was going to commit to ND, but was missing a certain class and ended up Ole Miss.
