Not much to find on the Aggies this morning for info from Behind Enemy Lines but here is a read on Manziel and how they think he has played his way into Heisman consideration.
Texas AM has one lone Heisman winner - running back John David Crow in 1957 - and hasn't owned a candidate in the mix this far into the season since quarterback Bucky Richardson in 1991.
We will see. I'm not buying the hype yet. So far the best defense he has faced is Florida and they were banged up pretty heavily I then if I remember correctly and they didn't have any A&M film to watch since that was their first game.
He may break loose a couple of times but I think our guys will keep him largely in check...
He has that it factor...I think he will make a few plays. they have a good o-line also. The best way to defense them is to put long drives together and he wont see the field much.
Maybe I'm naive or just wearing the P&G shades, but I don't see Maziel running wild against a stout SEC defense of which LSU has one. The 2 QBs in recent memory who ran strong against top SEC defenses were Tebow and Newton and both had TE size or about 40 pounds on Maziel.
A&M does have strong tackles, thus I think the pressure is going to have to come from inside and specifically from Logan & Co.
Yea I definitely see your point.
I think Manziel is the biggest threat LSU has faced at QB since Newton. Agree?
In terms of mobility perhaps but I personally feel that Gino Smith was a bigger "threat."
Yea, I see your argument there. Looking at what both do in their respective offenses I lean to Manziel.

"They're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, they're behind us....They can't get away this time." Chesty Puller
I don't hate often, but when I do, I prefer Alabama, USC or Notre Dame.
A&M only scored 17 pts that game and were shutout in the 2nd half. Also, Manziel only had 170 yds passing and 60 yds rushing with 1 total TD. I think I'll take those numbers from him this weekend vs LSU
Proud to support everything Louisiana
Oh I agree. I think our defense exceeds Florida's. I just was pointing out that it wasn't the most accurate barometer to look at Florida as the best defense they have faced.
Nowhere in my contract does it say I gotta make a fool out of myself, am I right?
