"We know this is our game," Jones said. "We know this is the game we have to focus on. This is the big game for us."
Alabama wide receiver Christion Jones said that while Alabama will celebrate its 38-7 win over Mississippi State, the Crimson Tide are already focused on next weekend's big showdown with LSU.
i think this game will be a typical, tough slugfest that won't be decided until late in the game. I am choosing to believe that this will be the best LSU team we have seen all season!!!! Go Tigers!!!
Can't wait for the atmosphere - we need to impact the game and bring our "A" game in terms of the fans and Death Valley.
I have to say I'm disappointed with the amount of tickets for sale. I felt that Alabama had waaaaaay more fans in New Orleans last year than I expected. Hopefully we don't see the same thing in literally our own backyard
I think you'll see a lot of red in TS on Saturday. I know three people that are trying to sell or have sold their tix. I don't like it, but they're getting $400/ticket and by all objective analysis it appears that Bama will stomp a mud hole in us again. One of my buddy's quote was something to the effect that if they're go to leave with a win, then I might as well get some concellation out of it....and this was a guy that paid 2 grand for the BCSNCG and $500 for the game in T-Town last year.
Seems like a group of fans that aren't true fans. If you can only be a fan during the glory times then to be quite honest and blunt, I don't want you as an ally of mine as an LSU fan. There are plenty of fans that stick with this program through thick and thin and not just when it suits their interests. Give them the tickets. I'm sure they would be more than willing to shell out money for them. Probably the same so called fans that run the rant on TD. Not really fans at all. Just people that live to bitch and complain, yet when things are going on a special path, those fans are the 1st ones running their mouths and gloating. Bunch of assholes if you ask me.
No wonder the players feel the need to encourage the fans to cheer. Is this what being an LSU fan has become?
The people you know aren't LSU fans and never should have been sold season tickets. Being an LSU fan isn't a "sometimes we stand by our team but not when they aren't #1 and we can make a buck" endeavor. It's not an opportunity to make a buck because the team's only ranked 6th and the guy down the hall, who's a Bama fan will pay me $400 a piece for my ticket. He might as well just take the money for 2014 too. With fans like him, LSU doesn't deserve to be great.
If this is indicative of the way current season ticket holders feel then we need three or four losing seasons in a row to cull these pricks out.
