Sports Illustrated just sent out a tweet saying they confirmed the BCS schedule through multiple sources.
BCSNCG: Notre Dame vs. Alabama
ROSE: Stanford vs. Wisconsin
FIESTA: Kansas State vs. Oregon
SUGAR: Florida vs. Louisville
ORANGE: Florida State vs. Northern Illinois
Northern Illinois getting in is obviously the big news of the day. They needed to finish in the Top 16 in the BCS standings, and they finished No. 15.
That thickens the plot a little..
The Cotton Bowl was avoiding the Texas vs. Texas A&M matchup, so the answer was to draw Texas and pass on the Aggies, in turn taking LSU. With Oklahoma out of the BCS because Northern Illinois is in, the Cotton Bowl can now take the Sooners, meaning the Aggies would be back on the table if the Capital One Bowl nabs Georgia with the first pick.
Northern Illinois will play Florida State in the Orange Bowl, according to a source with direct knowledge of the selection.

Michigan just announced they are taking a bid to the Outback Bowl.
SEC team TBD.
LSU opening in Dallas next year is probably not helping the Cotton Bowl effort...ya think?
No not a big deal. Happened in 2010
Kind of feel like this A&M chatter is posturing. We'll see, I guess.
I think for the Cotton Bowl, you HAVE to look hard at Texas A&M if they are on the table and the opponent is Oklahoma, which is now the case with Northern Illinois in a BCS game.
If not, then the choice seems like LSU. Can't really see UGA end up in Cotton Bowl now, but we shall see.
What is the deadline for the Cotton Bowl and/or all bowls?

4:40 p.m. update: It is official. Georgia will head to the Capital One Bowl.
The Cotton Bowl now has the pick of Texas A&M if they want them. This could be a huge change in direction, meaning LSU to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.
Orange Bowl is a joke with those two teams Please blow up this stupid BCS NOW
Something I didn't realize is the Capital One Bowl offers a great recruiting advantage
Under Armour All Americans are usually given free tickets to that game.
