Chinese, Laginappe is Cajun for " a little something extra." I know that you didn't hear such nonsense up dere in Monroe.
Watching the Alamo Bowl I am very dismayed by the officiating. The officials should have stopped the clock on the long third down pass by Oregon just before the half. It was definitely a first down but also the ball was spiked before the clock ran out. Miles gets crucified when this happens here.
I am not naive here. Which team is worth the most dollars in the nation? I am talking Gross worth. They prolly have the net worth also. Tejas! Damn, I hate this. I am a purist so I always hope for fairness.
Lets keep this thread going. Throw in your thoughts and inferences about any Bowl played or about to be played.
I really hope that Northern Illinois gets spanked by Florida State. It is silly to exclude LSU from a BCS game for the Huskers or whoever dey be.
I was glad to see Georgia spank Hawai'i a few years ago. Some teams should just not be there.
Ok. Does any team do less with more talent than Texas? They have top talent at every position yet they play terrible. That school is in desperate need of a culture change. How they stick with Mack is beyond me.
i love Navy...but matching them with a more talented team like ASU in the bowl season when ASU has extra time to prepare for the Navy triple option makes it tough for them to be competitive. But they play hard and give it their all. I hope they had a fun trip.
You are right my non-com friend!
I suggested earlier this year that maybe Texas had developed a "chink in their armor" when it came to recruiting after losing RSJ and the other one who transferred to Warshington. I look at the team recruiting and dey are at 10? I realize that it is not over and then only have what 12 or so listed but something is working loose over there. jMTVA kinda hammered me for saying that but the proof is in the puddin' is what I always say. Dey playing Oregon State in the Alamo Bowl?.?? Really??!!!
Wow! Usafflyingtiger loves Navy also! They do not have many boats in the Air Force is what I have heard. They also love to go boating and fishing.
I love the Bowl Season but feel a bit sad because it signals the end of CFB for a year. NSD is a plus but the "dawg days of summer" get me kind of reminiscing of the next recruiting cycle and FOOTBALL.
BTW. I did well in the investment area of College Football this season.
** I do not advocate gambling and will never admit to putting money on a game. Evasion of taxes is a terrible thing...
I hate that "forced out of bounds" call on a receiver. It is way too open for interpretation to me. Just allow everyone to be eligible. Take the subjective element away. Of course I am talking about the Alamo Bowl.
TCU vs Michigan State. Definitely a yawner...
We gonna whip dat butt next year fo sure.
This TCU QB is pretty good.
You know I'd never hammer you too bad buddy. I'm beginning to come over to your side on the Texas thing. Something is definitely wrong in Austin. Mack has lost control a little bit and likely will lose that job after next year.
What are the ULM folks saying about the egg they layed in Shreveport. The coach gave them 2 full weeks off and boy did they look rusty. It was there first bowl ever and must have been his first ever to coach. I am guessing no way he ever does that again.
Alford, to start I see that only two starters are from Louisiana. No big deal but what gives? I got a friend in West Monroe who is friends with the Duck Commander people and they are all in a shambles over this. The pictures of the multi-million dollar homes in the show is not their homes. They are good people but dey don't own dem homes and Phil was a QB at La Tech not ULM.
As far as JTMVA goes, he is quality people. Most of what he says you can take to the bank. We disagree on occasion but he does his homework for a floor person. He knows his stuff is all.
Chucky Hunter looking good for TCU...
How do we decide who to offer and who not to among the three stars? Not to be a star gazer but some of them will be all-American and some of them will never see the field. I thought for sure that Freak Johnson and La'El Collins would be all-Americans by now. I am not putting them down by any stretch of the imagination but didn't you all think the same thing? Just curious.
Speaking of officiating......Those Pac-12 guys in the Pinstripe Bowl with West Virginia and Syracuse were something too. It's ashame the Pac-12 will be doing the Bama/Notre Dame game.
Ok tomorrow is the Music City, Sun, Liberty and the all important Chic Fil a Bowls. Any prognostications out there?
I got a bad feeling.
I got Vandy over NC Stae in the Music City, USCe vs Ga Tech in Sun Bowl-who really cares??
Iowa Sate Cyclones vs the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes in the Liberty Bowl and predict that someone gonna lose a Trailer House in all of that wind. I got Iowa State along with my good buddy, oldIowaTiger.
LSU over Clemsum because they do not have the Strength and Conditioning that we have. Moffitt makes the difference here barring any game time fights or someone staying out all night in the Casinos. I hope that there are no Casinos in Atlanta. Are there? We are what 12-1 in that building? That is a good thing.
I have a GREAT feeling about the Bengal Tigers from the Bayou!
O.T. Reuben Randall caught a nice long TD for the Giants a while ago. He is gonna be dynamic if he can crack that line up.
Four catches for 58 yards and two TDs. That is first round draft pick type numbers. Damn, I wish we still had him one more year! If they double up on Cruze then Rueben gonna make them pay.

Clemson is gonna want this one.
Got beat to hail & back by little Texas Tech, 55-15, in the Tangerine Bowl of 2002
Smoked Rocky Top, 27-14, in the 2004 Chick fi la Peach Bowl
Got lucky and beat Colorado, 19-10 in the 2005 Champs Sports Bowl
Got smashed by SEC world-beater Kentucky, 28-10 in the 2006 Music City Bowl.
Watched as Auburn took home the win in OT in the 2007 Chick-fi-la Bowl, 23-20.
Got beat by little Nebraska, 26-21, in the Gator Bowl of 2009.
Beat SEC football powerhouse Kentucky, 21-13, in the 2010 Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl.
Got beat down by South Florida, 31-26, in the 2011 Meineke Car Care Bowl.
Got pulverized into dust particles by West Virginia, 70-33, in last season's Orange Bowl. (Where LSU and fans should be going this season)
Clemson only shows up if they think their bowl opponent is worth the effort....
....is LSU worth the effort?

Great summation I just hope that you are wrong. I also hope that Miles can get our guys up for this one. Anyone know what the mood of the team right now? Is there a bed check and curfew.
