Robinson confirms he will be at LSU camp in July but also confirms that the Bama commits are doing their work of recruiting him.............
The nations commitment to Alabama, talks about his camp experience in Tuscaloosa, and more.
Thanks for posting Sonny.
Who knows where this kid is leaning. It seems to me that he is doing his due diligence. I have to respect that. Even if in the end he goes with Bama. He is entitled ya know.
Best of luck to him and here's hoping the Tigers come out on top.
you gotta think he's headed to Bama based on all the trips, but you never know with recruiting. I gonna go ahead and count him as a loss so I won't be disappointed if he commits to Bama.
But all the trips is smart on his part. If you were to add up all the trips to LSU vs Bama over the years, I'd still say hes visited LSU more. Even if he's been there more in recent memory.
I'm not ready to concede just yet. He's still making efforts to come to LSU. As long as he continues to do that, we are right in it, IMO.
Agree with this but sometimes the timing of the most trips is more important and more telling. He's been to Bama at least 4-5 times this year while LSU twice. He also just spent a week at Bama. When has he ever spent a week at LSU? None of it means he's leaning Bama but the tealeaves certainly aren't showing LSU. Landon Collins never visited Bama this much and he was a goner from jumpstreet.
Him making that first bama camp was huge. Those guys that took him down there knew what they were doing and they certainly didn't have LSU in mind at that time. I hate to sound bitter, but if I were Les I'd remember that.
What was the name of the coach at West Monroe who took him to Bama?
While I would love CRob to be at LSU, He is not the be all / end all...
I also don't blame Les or Stud. They have been great at finding 3 star guys that bloom into College and NFL studs. They have also been great at finding OOS talent.
If he want to play at Bama, so be it, we will be fine without him.
I like the potential of B. Harris recruiting C. Rob. LSU needs more vocal advocates on C. Rob at all times, just so that he finds himself in a more impartial stream of influence. All things being equal, that would bring LSU and Bama 50/50. The kicker becomes: Who does C. Rob listen to more, his mom or his pro-bama coach?
Recruit a consistent recruiter and continue to impress mom.
. . .
Proud to support everything Louisiana
I'm just curious as to what 3 star studs you are talking about? How many guys that played o-line at LSU in the last seven years are still in the nfl?
This story is a mirror image of L. Collins recruitment in the sense that everyone was convinced LSU was still very much in the thick of it because they wanted it to be so. I remember I got chewed out saying he was all bama at the time.
CRob is gone pecan and has been. The sooner we accept it and move on to plan B the better. Of course, JMO
