I'd say first choice is UNC and UVA or Duke. If we can't get them get FSU and Clemson. Make the conference brand better and the TV dollars will come. NC State and VPI add nothing to the brand.

If we get UNC, UVA or Duke, I'd volunteer to take any of those 3 as permanent east opponent. Alabama could go ahead and pick up Florida?
That would suit me - Florida belongs in the SEC East anyway.
I think SEC entry would elevate interest and program quality - then there's this stuff called revenue or money. But I'm not advocating expansion unless there is some clear benefit to LSU.
But I just don't see the SEC getting much bigger. I don't see an immediate end to NC domination or NC contenders in the SEC. Aside from a NC, the even more telling piece is the SEC dominates the top 20/25 with ten or so members every recent year I can remember.. If this condition, it's hardly a trend, continues over the next decade, there will be efforts to break it up
