Ole Miss offered today and now you're starting to see the kind of offers you would expect for a 4* DE.
I am really starting to wonder what our D-Line Big Board looks like. After Willis it is very hard to tell who are our targets and who we might land.
Perfect example is the Frazier kid from Arkansas. You would figure we would play a prominent role in his recruitment but his name never comes up when talking about LSU.
As long as his academics are there he should see his recruitment take off. He's got a good frame and is very athletic. I loved him at camp last year and that was with guys like MJ Patterson in the group. Godchaux just shined, and Brick Haley was all over him.
They have had him on campus for pretty much every recruiting event since then, so I'm confident LSU has a plan for how they want to attack things.

Shea, if he ends up at LSU, where do you see him contributing on the field. What type of potential do you think he has?
Not Shea, but his potential is through the roof. He gives you versatility in that he could be a factor on the edge or inside and that is something that you don't get in a lot of DL prospects.
When do you think the staff will be comfortable enough with his academics to make the offer? Thanks!!
Absolutely a "must get" imo, if the academics are there, and I think the coaches feel the same way.
abolutely no appropriate place for a kid named "Godchaux" to play other than LSU
Is he someone that is close with the academics or is he a long way off from where he needs to be.
Off on the GPA and test score right now. You should start to see some movement on some of these kids over the next 6-8 weeks or so at the latest in my opinion. If an in-state kid doesn't have an offer by then he will have to earn it at camp unless he wows the staff during the spring evaluation period.
I sure hope he gets the grades in order I would love to see this kid at LSU.
whats the latest on his offer? From what i remember the staff told him last summer when he blew up at camp that he had an offer but basically it wasnt committable unless his grades improved...
