Last night we were outplayed, out-hustled, and out coached until 2 min to go. I know it stings like a bitch. I remember last November y'all did the dirty in our house. I just wanted to say that y'all guys were very impressive last night. Man was I shaking in the 2nd half!! I am sure some of y'all will blast me for even posting over here. Hell I don't really post much on my board, but I felt you guys should know that most Bama fans dreaded Baton Rouge and were happy to leave with the W even though we were completely shut down in the 2nd half for the most part. By the way, Jeremy Hill is a freakin animal!!!! Jeez, I don't wanna wish him well, I hope we never see him again. Jk. I wish all your players well and fans too. Thanks for your time. A very respectful Roll Tide
We appreciate the kind words. Neither team likes moral victories. Our guys played their tails off when no one gave them a chance. Geaux Tigers
we stole won last yr and yall returned the favor this year.. it does sting like hell, but these two teams are still the best in the country and it has turned into one heck of a rivalry
Wow! Well said; & yes there is no doubt who I think are the 2 best teams in the country. I would like to c either team play: a) Oregon b) Notre Dame & c) Kansas State. WE would clean house.
Thanks for stopping in, and do so more often. It was an amazing game in an even better environment.

Thanks 413, excellent game.
Tough loss, you guys have been there.
Tide and Tigers, top two in NCAA.
Only difference is they got a second chance to makeup for that "stolen victory"... and we wont get that chance!
Proud to support everything Louisiana
We blew ours vs Florida. I really do hate them as a permanent opponent.
On another note. You want to talk about respect. We have 2 losses and are still in the top 10 ranked ahead of a undefeated team and teams with one losses. People from all around recognize that we have something special.
Agree. Also, IMO, dropping us to 9 is rough. Do voters think that teams 3-8 (I will allow the Oregon at 2 argument) would do better against Bama and/or beat us? Curious...

Thanks for the classy post. It was indeed a tough loss but that is football.
Nice post. Best rivalry in sports. And, in my completely biased opinion, the two best teams and programs in the country.
Agree with the sentiments here.
If anybody watched the last 3 games between bama and lsu and does not understand that they are the 2 best teams in the country, then they dont understand football. They are the 2 best teams and has turned into the most intense rivalry in the land in the last 5 years. Intelligent Bama fans have nothing but respect for the LSU program.
We were outplayed by yall for 58 minutes and lucky to get out with the W.
I am a Bama fan, and also a professor at the Univ of Florida. If UF and LSU played ten times on a neutral field this year, LSU wins 7 or 8 IMO.
Shame Bama and LSU cant play for the championship again. As much as i dread playing LSU and fear losing, to watch the effort and talent on both sides is incredible.
best of luck to the purple and gold
Stopped by over here to see if there was a thread like this. I have to agree with the OP, it was a great environment. First time ever in Tiger Stadium, and I was extremely nervous on how I'd be received. My friend and I sat in section 300, row 62. Surrounded by LSU fans obviously, and credit must be given when credit is due. Classy, polite group of people. Conversed with many members of your fanbase the entire game. Left the stadium with a new outlook on LSU fans. In the future, I'll make sure I, along with anyone I'm around, treats y'all with the same respect in Tuscaloosa. Best of luck with the rest of y'all's season.
Great post! I wish there were more fans like this on both sides!
Ya know, a lot of people hate when ya'll do this. I'm not one of 'em. Classy post IMO. I can't stand the Tide, but I have to respect your team; no doubt about it. That was one great football game...................with a REALLY crappy ending! LOL
I hope ya'll enjoyed Baton Rouge hospitality. And, see ya'll again this time next year; it oughta be a good one!!!
"It's my hometown, and that's big for me," Henry said. "It's about playing for the home team in front of family
Hospitality??!! Oooooo. You meant in the stands, bc on the field the Tigers were a damn menace. Lol. To all the posters about the rivalry, it is without a doubt, the most important game in college football for 2 years straight. Wow!! We definately stand above the pack. This IS a rivalry!!! This rivalry is built on fear and respect of the damned dreaded Tigers in my case. I just hate the barn. Lol. By the way, what's up with Anthony Johnson, I thought he was Glen freakin Dorsey 2. Is he hurt or banged up? Not that y'all need another freak of a lineman. I havnt heard a lot of him and I expected him to really shine this year after his frosh campaign.

He's shown flashes of dominance so far this season, but hasnt put it all together mentally. There was talk of him really slacking off during Summer workouts and solely relying on his amazing talent to get by... hopefully he can get the mental aspect of the game down because he can be one of the best DT's LSU has ever had... he has a VERY high ceiling
BEST RIVALRY IN SPORTS??? LMAO!!!!! Wow. I can name 10 better off the top of my head.
Did you read my whole post? It was a bit of a joke..."my completely biased opinion." Congratulations on looking for something to attack.
I gotta be honest i really hate Alabama fans but your ok guy,see ya next year in Tuscalousa!!Geaux Tigers
We appreciate it, however, nothing will make us feel any better.
That's why we wander and follow La Vie Dansante...
Classy post. Thank you for the words of respect for the program. LSU and Bama are the two best programs going right now.
Geaux Tigers! Geaux Fishing! Geaux Mudding!
Good to see you stop by.
They game was kinda of a reversal of the game last year in Tuscaloosa - we won and we were lucky.
McCarron needs a statue - the kid executed two of the best last second drives I've seen in a long time.
Our Freshmen played well against an elite team but made a few errors when no error is forgiven.
Great to see you post here - and all is good until kickoff next year when I work up my hate for the Tide.
