All this tall, talented, & deep threat wide receivers have me wondering....... what's the latest on D'haquille Williams. So I found this video on youtube. There seems to be a familiar face at the 2:10 mark.
Sorry if this is a repost.
Former East St. John standout wide receiver just finished a remarkable season at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Heres an update.

Who was that masked man at the 2:10 mark?
Whoever he is, he has the hair of a god

I'm so glad this got reposted. It's been a month since then and the hair is even more amazing...

I know this has been asked before, but is he a 2014 guy now?
He is....He will also be eligible for the NFL draft coming straight out of Juco.
I've never seen him play, is he good enough to be drafted straight out of JUCO? Would he have 2 years to play 2 at LSU if he did go to college?
The first catch he made on that highlight video was NFLesque. He reminds me of a cross between Roy Williams and Dez Bryant. I've been hearing about this kid for years, praying he would get his academics in line. My old high school coach (Dautrieve) coached him at ESJ. He said he was the best receiver he's ever seen at the high school level. That is saying something considering he's been coaching for over 40 years in La. He'd most likely be one and done at LSU, but that one year would be something to see..
He's got the talent and ability. No doubt.
Said it plenty of times, but he's the best HS WR I've ever seen in person.
I do believe it's time I change my twitter profile pic. Because that one is from Breaux Bridge's Crawfish Festival in 2011 (a kid won a plaque for winning the crawfish race..... which I borrowed for the pic). Pretty much haven't cut my hair since then. Soooo.... I think there may be some competition for the sites best hair.
Edit: Mutiple girls have asked if I ever flat ironed my hair (it's very curly)...... no I haven't.
Dont really understand all the chatter about him declaring for draft after JUCO. Nobody does that anymore. Cam Newton wasn't even "good enough".
Paul Mainieri = 328-135 ovr (70.8%), 119-89 SEC (57.2%), 21-10 NCAA (67.7%), 3 CWS App., 1 National Title
Newton wasn't draft eligible when he came out of JUCO. He was only two years removed from high school. Very few legit players spend three years in JUCO.
Williams was described by many as the best player in the state in a class that included Collins, Hill, Hilliard, Landry, Johnson, Beckham, Rasco and Robinson. If anybody can do it, he can. Plus he's no lock to even make it into a major college next year.

I had sort of forgotten how dominating DW can be from HS m a couple years back. Lord, he has ability. His height, physique, hands, first step, separation...he has the whole physical package to play at any level he chooses.
I hope he gets the grades. I hope he still loves LSU. IMO, he could start right now for any team in the SEC.
If he has matured and is in control of himself as a team mate and player on the field and in the classroom, he will outdo the last good JC receiver with talent, Demetrius Byrd. I recall Byrd having some emotional meltdowns in addition to fine playmaking ability. Williams looks like he can top Byrd to me.
Williams has not found any level he can not dominate at yet. That is very encouraging. Imagine him with Dural, Leslie, and maybe Courtney Gardner with Diarse, etc, along with Landry and Beckham and maybe Quinn. Yikes.
Regards to All,
He would have 2 years to play 2 in college. I know NFL scouts are very excited about him and Risean Broussard, who played at Washington-Marion and was a freshman this year at Hinds CC with Quantavius Leslie.
