Per Joe Schad.
Talk about going from a stable of RBs to a few lone horses
Amazes me he wants to go, but I get it. Probably lose touches next year.
I don't get it because I think he's got time to improve next year, but I get it, as well. He probably would see his touches be about the same next year, or less.

I guess we see Magee back at RB for sure.

I guess Magee moves back to RB, huh?
The staff is playing it very risky. Now we only have Hill, Blue, and Hilliard a couple injuries and we could be screwed.
Really wish we took Adam Taylor. He was dominant in Katys title run this year.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Magee get some solid rushing attempts. I don't think he will disappoint Tiger fans. Was it just me or when Ford got touches, it was really to rush on the outside. It seemed too predictable. I think he was definitely a productive asset to the team and wish him the best.
Does this mean Mett doesn't run the option next year?
I'm not one to bash the staff much at all but what they did with him was a joke. He was actually very good at running between the tackles but literally every time he came into the game it was a toss to the outside with him.

Two words Jermey Hill. I think this was the right move, now we can move Magee back to RB. This also opens the door for Brazil to make an immediate impact a RB. My fingers are crossed that the coaches will find the right mismatches for Brazil especially in space.
I agree with this.
Magee is a very good RB, but if he is used like Ford for only one particular type of play then he also will be wasted. Magee can catch it and throw it, a lot like Ware. I saw from his film that he is tough and he is harder to bring down than people think.
Brazil is in the same boat as Magee and if this staff treats him like Trindon Holiday and give him one play to make, I am going to be very disappointed(again). Brazil has decent hands and very good running ability. He wont fall down with touched like Shepard and if allowed both he and Magee could be play makers out of this backfield.
Regards to All,
first post. hello everybody. back on topic, I'm hoping k. holmes gets a long look as one kickoff return option
I don't think there is any doubt and I think that benefits him and LSU much better than him still trying to learn WR
He didn't even run between the tackle in high school. You making this crap up. Jeeezum
I'm afraid you are wrong. I covered him all 4 years in high school. Early in his HS career he bounced everything to the perimeter. But his junior and senior seasons, he was adept at running between the tackles.
Nowhere in my contract does it say I gotta make a fool out of myself, am I right?
Going by the the high lite video that I saw. I seemed he hit all his big runs on the outside. I like the kid I don't remember he doing much with the ball inside the tackle.
It tick me off when people act like they know everything that goes on in practice. If Miles saw that Ford was a affective inside runner why wouldn't he use him that way. Ford avoid contact from the moment he got to LSU. It was will documented as to why he saw so little playing time his freshman year. That's why Hillard and Blue both passed him up on the depth chart and now Hill has.
He will more than likely benefit going forward because he didn't get beat up in his college like some do.
EDIT: I hope he blows it up in the NFL

It would be great to see Magee back at RB where he belongs. He did well at RB a year ago and probably has developed good hands working with the receivers. I never saw anything more from Trindon Holliday other than his elite track speed. His ball handling skills were just average, his vision was average, and it didn't take much to take him down once a defender makes contact. Brazil looks more well built as a high school senior than Trindon looked as a college senior. Brazil is a much bigger weapon if they give him the ball.

Wouldn't be too surprised to see Copeland get a couple of carries more if we run into injuries at RB.
I think Hill and Blue split most of the reps, and Hilliard is the 3rd guy. Magee sprinkled in, and probably trying to get Brazil a couple carries if the opponent calls for it.

I don't want to think about the potential depth if Fournette commits elsewhere. I guess Les would run the Mike Leach offense with Stephen Rivers.
I am a staunch supporter of this staff... but that is one move/decision that I will never understand!
They have a Sophmore, Rodney Anderson, that I am being told is an absolute STUD! He burst onto the scene as a freshman last year after Adam's injury, which is completely unheard of for a freshman to play on Katy's Varsity team... unfortunately, he is a heavy Bama lean, and I'm sure what we did to Adam will not help us makeup any ground on him
Proud to support everything Louisiana
I honestly dont see how LF doesnt come to LSU... Bama has taken a zillion RB's and we are making LF a top priority. I see LF's recruitment kind of playing out the same way KB's did this year
