What you guys have to realize when questioning if they are ready is that now rookies are guarenteed 400k a year and most of these guys even if they slide to the 3rd round will be making 750-1mil a year. I certainly would make the same decision. Why play for nothing when you could get your career started and make more money in a year than your family will see in 10-30 years...
One of LSU's big selling points is getting players into the NFL, and a lot of kids choose LSU for just that reason. When those kids have the opportunity, they often make the jump. It should not be surprising when a Junior, multi-year starter declares.
