God bless our Father's today and every day. Fond memories of those who are no longer with us. May they see their Tigers in all their glory during this College World Series
So little time, so much to do
Couldn't have said it any better myself. Enjoy your day with your loved ones because tomorrow is never guaranteed.
Happy Father's Day to all.
Sonny is right. Tomorrow with your loved ones is not guaranteed at all. Enjoy it while you can.
Back in 2003 my father was hospitalized in Shreveport in his final days although I didn't know it at the time. That Saturday I was in Baton Rouge at the Super Regionals against Baylor and returned home to Lake Charles that night. When I walked in the door I got a call from the hospital telling me to hurry.
I got to Shreveport about 4 a.m. and things had taken a turn for the worse. However, Pop snapped back and we sat together that Sunday and watched the Tigers beat Baylor and move on to Omaha. He had the biggest grin on his face that day. Monday he was gone.
Like D14 said Tomorrow with your loved one is not guaranteed so cherish your time together. Happy Father's Day!
