Jeremy Hill could barely walk on the last drive and couldnt even run off the field. So when Mett doesn't notice and dumps it to him, Jeremy still did his best to sprint out of bounds. And as if the loss wasn't enough, group of students were yelling at Hill calling him a "rapist ni**a." No respect for some fans after that. 95% of B.R. doesn't know what truely happened at Redemptorist when he was arrested. The reports are so completely twisted. Give him some respect.
And then guys like Jeremy go to Twitter and do nothing but praise the fans for all their support, then apologize profusely for letting his teammates down. The kid rushed for more than 100 once again, and all he talks about is how much more he could have done..
I will never understand some fans. I know it's that way with every school, but what I saw growing up, in college, and now each week is LSU.

"I guess you've just gotta find something you love to do and then... do it for the rest of your life." - Max Fisher
Funny how they recognized Charles Alexander and the trivia question referenced 8 100 yd rushing games being the record and Hill has 3 as a true freshman. Just imagine his productivity next year when he get 20+ carries a game from game 1.
I doubt he gets all the carries. We still have too many good backs with hilliard, blue and ware probably back with him. No way we let one guy take all the reps.
I am thinking Ware goes pro and Blue, because of his family situation, does as well.
I see next year as 1) Hill, 2) Ford, 3) Hilliard, 4) Magee (if needed to change positions)
I was not far from where the Hill stuff happened, in the student section and I didn't hear anything like that. I don't doubt it, though.
I will say, the Greek section it seems is now is a bunch of angry assholes venting their frustrations about life through the football team. Things have changed in the last few years in the student section as a whole. I'm talk in the last 5-6 yrs. There wasn't a need to tell the other to to suck the genitalia of our mascot and degrade them.
This goes way beyond the "Kick their ass" stuff...It's obscene to see and hear what these kids say.
Be Here Now
Hill is the best RB i've seen at LSU since Faulk and Cecil
First let me say that i hope this whole story in regard to Hill is not true. Kid played his a$$ off and deserves nothing but our respect. I also agree that the distasteful song needs to stop being played by the band. I sit in front of the expanded student section in the north end zone with my aging father and several other older fans and its disgusting some of the stuff we hear. I'm not too old enough to remember what it was like to be a student but some of it is way over the top. We get rained on every time we score during big games and that's ok but the language needs to be cleaned up. I have a 14 and 9 yr old and no way will I sit in my seats if I bring them to a game. I have to sell my tickets and purchase somewhere else in the stadium but even there their ears aren't safe.
All respects to Jeremy Hill but cant the game mamgement station some cops over there? Throw their immature butts out!
I hope Jeremy feels the "love" from the rest of us!! It takes a real man to correct his life and go on and perservere.
WTF? That's ridiculous! There's absolutely no reason for that. That kid played his heart out and left it on the field like the rest of this team. Anyone and I repeat anyone that says anything like that in front of me, they will get an ear full very loudly. Pathetic
And you're right. They don't know the real story. That kid is far from a rapist
I was hanging out with his sister after the game and she told me that their mom wasn't going to the next game because of the situation. Been playing sports with Jeremy and his sister since kindergarten. Just annoys me. And I totally agree about the new Neck chant. That's by far the best song and crowd interactive thing we have and the students had to ruin it. Granted I'm in the student section as well, I wish we could clean it up and bring back the song.
Some recruits commented how the fans tried to pick the players up after the game. When it comes to perceptions, theirs are the ones that matter most (from a program perspective). The point is: there were almost 100,000 people in the stadium - in the history of the world, never have that many people assembled without at least a few idiots in the bunch. Factor in copious amounts of alcohol, and you the stories that come from SEC rivalry football games.
I would like to know where you were sitting because i was there in the student section close to the field and i didn't hear anything like that. There was alot of foul language thrown Saban's way but thats all i heard. It was amazing in Tiger Stadium on saturday night!
Geaux Tigers! Geaux Fishing! Geaux Mudding!
I think your title and your post is total BS regardless of whether factual or bogus.
We had 93,000 plus fans screaming their lungs out for Hill and all things LSU and you have to be "that guy" that comes here to repeat some trash that you claim some less than 1% of the fanbase was allegedly chanting.
Next time, why not just give them a megaphone instead of re-broadcasting their alleged chants to the Internet.
Thanks Internet hero.
"There are some reasons for this that we cannot get into right now."
Yeah, I don't think it's fair to call out an entire fan base for the alleged actions of a few morons. All I've read is about how awesome the fans were.

Congrats to young Jeremy Hill on a fantastic FR season. And I have to give some kudos to Shea here, who said that he felt Jeremy was a better RB than Kenny Hilliard coming out of HS. I didn't buy that at the time, but he's looking lile a prophet now. And Jeremy was our first commitment in '11, and he and La'el helped influence other young men to jump on board and they became "The Fam."
Calm down, every one was saying this about hilliard a few weeks ago.
