Mark Hudspeth has done a helluva job at ULL. I doubt that he is there next season. The man is a winner for sure. They are literally in a different league than LSU so there is no direct competition there.
I think he'll be there in 2013. There aren't many bigger HC jobs out there at this point. He's got Broadway for at least 2013, so he can ride him to a bigger job next year.
He's done a gr8 job of turning that program around.. He had Florida on the ropes, & could have beaten ECU by a larger margin if not 4 turnovers. I think his salary has increased from $400K/year 2 about $800K/year with an extra $200K on top of that... Hat's off 2 ULL for changing their procedure on fund allocation & paying a gr8 head coach much more than they've ever been accustomed to. Hud's a winner & will move on to a major D1 program in the coming years, I hope he stays here another couple of years & continues the turn around he started...,,
I am not sure when he will leave but it is coming, he has turned around the mess Ricky Bustle left here and really has the program moving in the right the direction. His name is starting to show up in the coaching circles. He has the fan base excited about the program and pumping money into it.
I know it was rumored that Hud would be Mullen's successor at State. Whether it's at MSU or not, I think he's coaching in a BCS conference in 2014. He's a quality coach in my opinion, still impressed with way he organizes and runs practice.
That ship has sailed. Mullen should've jumped at bigger jobs when he had the chance. If you notice, his name didn't come up much this year with plenty of good jobs open.
Never mind, not worth it...

Tremendous job he has done at ULL. He has a good staff together over there and I'm kind of surprised his name didn't get mentioned more for the Southern Miss job with his strong connections to Mississippi.
A lot of the coaching changes have already taken place and his name didnt' really come up. I don't see him making a move this year. I'd imagine most schools would be hesitant to hire him knowing that he is waiting on the Mississippi State job.
