Guys i have never done anything like that. I love Miles and think he is a great CEO. I am prone to be very patient and have been a Miles supporteer. But his offense philosophy is killing us. Read dandydon.com today and see how pitiful its been for last three years.
Anyway Verge called me back and was very gracious. He was being politically correct but did say that alot of fans are calling, emailing, ect. I think if enough of us fans call for a change, MAYBE coach Miles will change the OC and the offensive philosophy. Do you remember the MalPerito days on defense? He finally made a change and thats how we got Chavis. If you don't like the product on the field, look up the LSU athletic dept and contact Aleva or Ausbury. Hey contact the Tiger atheltic foundation also. I did by email, but haveing heard anything in return.
I was always told that the squeeky wheel got the grease. We better get squeeky if we want a change.

@jarrett__lee quick question my man. You think a new offensive coordinator would help LSU? TY you had more heart than a lot of people at LSU
@nclsu it ain't the offensive coordinator and thanks Shawn

I'm sorry but I'm taking everything he says with a grain of salt. He tells Shepard to calm down when he tweets about writing a book, yet has no problem throwing Miles under the bus himself? Pick a side and stick to it "Happy Feet" Lee
I am a Miles supporter as well, and have been a vocal one at that. I still am, but I think we all should know by now that it's Miles' offense. I want Miles in BR and in charge, but I want a real OC that actually is running the offense. If using a business analogy, retain Miles as the CEO, and hire a COO to game plan and have control of the offense, just like Chavis does with the D. Nothing wrong with that. Miles has his contract and job security for the next few years. It's time for him to let go of the offense. It's just not working here.
Sorry to disagree pal but I think it was the other way around......."Happy Feet" Lee won 8 games for us before being uncermoniously pulled in favor of JJ. Lee gave more to the Tigers than he got from Les.
It's easier for the apologists to bash ex players than it is for them to come to realization that Les is lost. Randle, Shep, and now Lee...what do these kids have to gain? Why don't you see these types of tweets from defensive players? They're angry and frustrated that the offense has a potential that's being stunted by a head coach that isn't qualified to be an offensive coordinator. We get just as many highly rated recruits on the offensive side as we do on the defensive side, but send about a third of the amount of kids into the draft. Objectively, why would an offensive player with no connections to LSU or the state want to come to LSU? We have one OL in the league since Stud came to LSU, and he was recruited to play DT.

Nobody really cares what Lee says right now. He's not on the team anymore and it's crystal clear to anyone OC is a major issue and has been for years here.
- Maybe you enjoyed going into the 4th quarter against Clemson up 11 and then 5 of our 6 total offensive plays were pass plays that quarter.
- Maybe you enjoy we STILL have occasionally run the option with a QB that moves like Ryan Mallett.
- Maybe you enjoy the generally uninventive predictable play calling we generally see throughout games.
But we all don't, and realize there is a major problem with offensive coaching. Is Mett what he should have been? No. Did the receivers play up to their potential this year? No. Is the OL how we wanted this year? No.
But to ignore the fact that offensive playcalling/development is not pretty damn awful is just ignoring the source of the problem really. Miles admitted he made a mistake promoting from within when he did the Mallveto thing, now unfortunately he made the same mistake on the offensive side of the ball with Stud (yeah, this time he was forced into in a way, but he just left it as is, despite it not doing well the forced time around). Time for a change, bottom line.
Paul Mainieri = 328-135 ovr (70.8%), 119-89 SEC (57.2%), 21-10 NCAA (67.7%), 3 CWS App., 1 National Title
Miles went out of his way to say that it wasn't Gary Crowton's offense a few years ago, it was "LSU's offense".. Gary C made sure that was known as fact...
meaning, LSU's offense has Miles hand prints all over it.
Regardless of OC or QB, LSU's offense is not very consistent. Look at the numbers, we stink for an Elite program.
Every fan knows what LSU is about to run before the snap...based on personnel, down and distance.
We have become so predictable it is really sad.
The one time we should run the ball is on 2nd and 2 the other night, you have 3 downs to get a first and win the game...and we pass.
It's just inexcusable to allow Clemson run 100 plays all due to poor offense.
Miles needs to get off his rocker and address the offense...He is holding it back, that's just fact...based on 5 years of evidence, his style and what former players tweet.
Miles is holding back the LSU offense... and frankly I am very upset about it....we aren't winning big anytime soon under this offense
Its cute you think they take you seriously. Please dont call the athletic dept. This is dumb and stop complaining about or team like its awful cause its not
You have to admit the offense is at least horrible. Give the guy that at least.
i can't imagine how anyone that's seen our offense for the last 5 years can honestly say that what's been on the field has been acceptable for a top tier program
I agree. JL is a fine young man and he was not given a fair shake at LSU. He took us to 13-0 when our pot head JJ effed up. If TM7 and the rest of the posse hadnt manipulated Les, JL would have given us a chance at a Ship agains BAMA. And yes I know JL and his dad. They are solid people and not running around whinning, but they got the shaft.
