Proud to support everything Louisiana
I admittedly am not the biggest CLM supporter, but what really nags me is the pay raise leverage BS pulled by CLM and his agent. CLM realizes this is a business and to his credit, he leveraged the Michigan and Arkansas vacancies in his favor. CLM is interested in job security. I am not interested in his want for job security. Whether you like him or not Saban has set the bar for the West; furthermore, the additions of Sumlin, Bilema, and Freeze should give any true fan a dire sense of urgency.
If you want to be paid, like the best and your chief competitor wants to win every championship then you have to step up your game, or find job security elsewhere. We as a fan base cannot accept less than championships. Sumlin is a monster, Bielema will hang 80 on you without batting an eye, and Freeze is convincing top tier talent to visit OM, that's right OM. The west is the premier conference in all of college football. Talent alone will not get it done. Your eyes are not deceiving you. Call whomever and demand changes before it is too late.
I don't agree with this, it wasn't fake, they had interest. He didn't leverage anything, he didn't even talk about it. If he had said something, publicly said he had interest in the job, they yes, that would be leveraging. But a school contacting him or his agent is not his doing.
I was excited to see this years offense. Personally, I've never complained about the play calling. I really thought this year would be different and really, when the OL blocked well, I liked the way the offense looked. Look at the games where the OL played well and the games where they didn't. Big difference in our offense. Night and day. So, that leaves me with a question, was the offense set to be more effective this year if the OL had remained intact and played to our expectations?
