Obviously no easy task as both Alabama and A&M will be preseason top 10 of not to 5, but odds are great we will have a rematch vs. Florida or Georgia

If our team can stay healthy like the 2011 season and also avoid off-field problems, I like our chances. But unfortunately, those circumstances are all determined by fortune. Let's hope luck is on our side in 2013.

Agree. Bama again has the easy route avoiding East powers but I think we're the favorite and aTm will be toughest Western opponent
I seriously doubt anyone would consider us the favorite going into next year except LSU homers. As you said Bama's schedule is much easier, we play at Bama and they proved they could lose 7 players on defense and still be #1. Plus we will lose some key guys on defense. We think we can rely on a veteran offense but I wouldnt hang my hat on that. We'll be a solid top 10 team to start.
Have to agree with this. We may very well win the west, but I doubt that we will be the favorite as we have a much tougher path. We play tough TCU and a decent Kent St as OOC foes and we face UGA and UF from the east. Bama plays Va Tech(probably not as good as Kent St much less TCU) and their East foes are Tenn and Kentucky. How does this happen?
A spineless AD. But hey! we spend more on a womenz basketball coach than anyone else in the conference! A real financial wizard!
I agree DC. The unequal schedule between Bama and LSU is brutal. We still have a great shot to beat UF at home and UGa with a rookie QB and depleted defense. At the end of the day if we beat Bama on the field we'll pretty much win the West.
The key is our defense.
We need some guys to step up and Freak Johnson really has to step up.
I think White and Mills will be our starting CBs and they will lock down. At safety I hope Loston stays.
Rasco also needs to step up at DE and become a star.
On offense we will be very good. Return everyone expect Lonergan and maybe Ware. If we add a Gardner or RSJ our offense becomes elite.
Lieutenant Dan, you got no legs!
Can you take me on a ride in that big plane or does our Uncle Sam frown on that? Just curious.
This is a pretty solid assessment ffrom GW.
We didn't get the performances we needed from a few of our defensive stalwarts over the last few games.
Tired? Beat up? Palyed down to competition?
If there's is anything that will keep you in a ball game on a bad day, it's a reliable defense.
Overall, I think we'll be a better team at post-season and headed for 2013.
Ha! Uncle Sam does frown on that but not on simulator rides. Come on up anytime my friend. Hope deer season is treating you well!
Simulator? I want to land the big Bastard! LOL.
Lemme put it to you this way, if a jumbo that I was riding on got hi-jacked then Ill gladly dispatch the hi-jackers with minimal help. I will then volunteer to land it if no one else is qualified. I would keep it level if they can give me a heading and airspeed and how to accomplish this. Put down landing gear and then make sure that the ass hits first. Shut down the throttles and mash down on the brakes extra hard once on the ground. I have noticed that the flaps go down on a commercial aircraft upon approach. Hit the ground about 100 MPH give or take and everybody better run for cover if I have misplaced my glasses(which I have been doing quite often as of late). Am I missing anything?
I can promise you one thing. I 'ain't skeered.
I just might take you up on that simulator one day my Friend. Hadn't hunted much lately. Too hot to hunt here. Texasfence and me prolly going to Cotton Bowl. We can always find a reason to party and our Tigers playing is as good a reason as any.

Doubtful Murray leaves early unfortunately. McCarron as a Sr will be tough to beat and their schedule is a joke

GET AT ME
this s**t is getting really old.
for the third year in a row, bama is allowed to play a boise state schedule. once again, they have 2 tough games, and this year theyre not even back to back. theyre 6 weeks apart.
Virginia Tech (in Atlanta)
at Texas AM
at Mississippi State
the 7 weeks leading up to LSU is two home games, at Kentucky, 2 home games, and a bye.
from the east, we get UGA and Fla (both top 5 teams), they get Tenn and UK (who went 1-15 in the SEC)
As this link will show, Tennessee is second only to Bama in winning percentage and National Titles. If any team has the money, support and resources to turn it around then Tennessee has it.
Mark Richt was supposedly on the proevrbial " hot seat" going into this year and all of a sudden they are one win away from the BCSNC game. Tennessee is also able to have that kind of turn around. Tyler Bray, Coradelle Patterson and Da' Rick Rogers were going to be just as good as any offense in the SEC this year. Their defense really sucked and they are not coached up very well right now.
Tennessee WILL turn it around I assure you. The Conference better not drop them from Bama's permanent schedule after this turn around occurs. I guess we will see. 76, what do you think about this? You live in the Volunteer State.
Alabama vs Tennessee game is simply called the Third Saturday in September Game. They have played 94 times in the past. That is a few...
Damn, Bama has a bye right before they play us... that's not good!
Proud to support everything Louisiana
Zero chance they win the west next year not going to happen. Come to bed and change your shorts. Your attitude is so vituperative
