I just watched an interview of Gerald Willis (Edna Karr) on another LSU site and when asked who his top schools were he said LSU, TAMU, and Florida. There was no mention of Alabama at all, even when talking about attending junior days and such. Obviously his brother Landon Collins chose Bama over LSU last year and on this site it shows Bama and LSU as Willis's favorites. I am wondering if he and Bama have had some sort of falling out? Anyone have any insite into the situation?

I think their falling out was Landon coming back to reality.
Will be interesting to see if Quinn gets a shot at the USF job, which could have an effect on the Florida outlook.
Apparently 'momma' saw first hand that what Saban says during recruiting visits is not necessarily what will actually will happen after the LOI is submitted.
'Momma' is pissed!
Here's a really informative thread about him that got bumped off page one because of some less important posts I made. Sorry.
LSU, AM, and Florida according to a interview by Jason Howell after Karr win over Neville. Suppose to be video of the interview sometime th
I like this news, but there is a long way to go before February 2014, and i would be very surprised if Bama is completely off his radar for that whole period.
By the way, I went to the game Friday night, and Willis played GREAT and lived in the Neville backfield. If Neville had a QB that wasnt named John Diarse, God only knows how many sacks / TFL Willis would have had.
Don't y'all know that's how Bama rolls. They keep thing hush hush through out the process ala Beckwith Collins. They tell the players act like they are interested in LSU all the while secretly conspiring with Bama. Keep this on the down low though. We don't want Bama to know that we know what they are up to.
Either Saban has toned down some or is just better at hiding his personalty and getting players to like him better. I remember in 2004 a lot of players on the team could not stand him and wanted to transfer before he left. Also I remember a couple of players that would negatively recruit against Saban when they would host someone. Damien James was one of them that would tell recruits about how much of a jerk Saban is. Seems like ole Saban has gotten slicker through the years.
April Justin (Landon and Gerald's mom) won't be sending her second son to Alabama. I think he ends up at LSU, but there are reasons he hasn't brought up the Tide recently.
Now, Saban and his staff surely won't ever stop recruiting him, so perhaps some things change. But as of right now, LSU feels good about Willis.
