for the last two bowl games combined by about sixty yards through three quarters. I don't know whether to be impressed or sad. I'm sure I'm about to get roasted but geez that's crazy.
Whatever... But the kid is like nothing I've ever seen before. I think he's going to make a hell of an NFL qb and end up being the number 1 overall pick. He's such an accurate passer.
225 on fire. I'm a Southern Jag, LSU Tiger. I mean that.- Lyrical genus Mouse on Tha Track
He is incredible. He could fine tune his passing, but he has really improved on that since our game. Every time he runs I am amazed, though.
He's the real deal. Chavis did shout him down in the second half of our game but that was the last time anyone has stopped him. Wish we could get a QB like that. You know, the kind that can hit a WR in stride.

That was our best win of the year and our staff deserves a lot of credit for shutting him down. We were disciplined in our contain.
Was Manziel heavily recruited? I don't think he was. Crazy how good this kid is and nobody realized it. Would die to have a QB like that LSU.
Manziel wanted to be a Longhorn and was willing to play DB for them but Mack never offered.

Joke is on him then. Will probably end up being one of his worst career mistakes before it is over with. I'm young, but Manziel is the best I've seen at this stage.
I was wondering the same thing. I bet Mack is kicking himself right now.fingergun]
he was graded about the same as jerard randall was coming out of high school.(top 10 dual qb)
At one point in the cycle, Randall, Manziel and Mariota were all committed to Oregon. Wow
Ag here. No bashing just joining the convo.
Mack passed up on RGIII and Manziel. Both wanted a tu offer but never got one. Manziel only had offers from Oregon, Stanford, Rice, and A&M. I think A&M was the last to offer.
We can't say anything. CLM passed on RG3 for Jordan Jefferson. Unbelievable looking at it now.
Thanks for the confirmation. Please come back.
Not the same. Les would've been highly criticized if he wouldn't have offered Jefferson because he was highly rated and it's a rare occasion when LA produces QB's that are rated 4 stars or higher. RG3 was a TX kid and all of the TX schools passed on him except for Baylor and Houston. We lost Darron Thomas because of Jefferson's commitment.
Sounds like the only right thing your previous staff did

Mike Sherman was a good recruiter and developed great talent. He just can't get them through two halves of football.
LOL, I know... was just taking a jab at this Aggie
Obviously Von Miller is one of the premiere young Defensive players in the NFL and even Tannehill is surprising people in the pros
Not to burst everybody's bubble but let's get a couple things straight. Oklahoma has a bad defense so they helped Manziel look good. We shut his azz down. Before we crown this guy best of all time lets see if he can duplicate this. My gut feeling is next year will be a little different.
The hope is that Manziel next year won't have to run as much because he'll spend the summer working with his California QB coach and also our RB situation will be even stronger. I'm guessing next year his rushing numbers are down some but his passing numbers are up. I will be a long break before next season starts but I'm already excited to see what next years team can do with the recruits we have lined up.
Manziel is a something very special. He is extremely confident back there.
My concern for him was the number of times he ran the ball - he as absorbed a helluva lot of punishment.
On the LSU side here, we're in a dour, sour mood and already in grief stage 3 awaiting the 2013 season.
