Shocking! I hope we get Brumfield.
Very interesting considering he said he liked Texas more than Florida right after going to Gainsville.
Proud to support everything Louisiana
You're going to start seeing a lot of these out-of-state offers from some schools aren't what they appear to be on the surface. You don't visit a school then the next day say another school is on top but then commit to that school you just visited, especially at this time of the year.
With that said, I wish Paul the best and think he has a chance to be a good OG in college. Now, maybe Peyton Winbush will start getting the attention he deserves.

Give me the scoop, LSU fans. Looks like he mauls when he gets his paws on people, but there's a lot of bad weight and it doesn't look like he has the best feet.
Hits the nail on the head.
"You can learn more character on the two-yard line than anywhere else in life." - Former LSU Coach and AD Paul Dietzel
I don't think its a bad pickup, but I thought he'd be a kid coaches would want to see at camp this summer before accepting a commitment. He does, however, give UF an opening into St. Aug, which is producing a ton of talent again.
now trade, what do you know about Sharieef Rhaheed?
"In the SEC,you're a glorified run support guy.In the Big 12, you're a cover guy."-Bobby Burton asking why DBs go SEC
I was impressed with Paul's highlights (understand that's why I call these clips highlights rather than "film"). But seeing his picture at that recent get-together of New Orleans kids at the Saints facility was borderline shocking. The kid looked almost comically, if not tragically, obese.
i wasn't. He can barely get into his stance.
Is Brumfield really 6-2 250?
"I guess you've just gotta find something you love to do and then... do it for the rest of your life." - Max Fisher
wow, that wasn 't nice lol
Coach, I was trying to be kind, but if you told me that kid broke 6.0 in the 40, I'd ask "minutes" or "hours"?
Ok, but I'll expect more than "hits the nail on the head" after the following:
First, I'm going to shamelessly plug the in-state board I've spent a lot of time on (attached below). On my updated one, I have him as the 3rd best OLB behind two guys with national offers lists. I'd imagine he'll play WDE in your 4-3 scheme though.
I think this scouting report from his coach is right on:
"Sharieff is an explosive player with a lot of length, speed and athleticism," Central coach Josh Shaffer said. "The big thing in college football right now is having tall, athletic guys who can run and tackle and he fits that mold perfectly."
I wouldn't worry about the fact he doesn't have any Big 3 offers. I'd be surprised if he doesn't get them after the spring eval period. He's good...the Gators know of him as he has visited for a junior day.
Here are my early 2014 in-state position rankings. Tell me what you think. Whats stupid?
1) Wade Freebeck, 6-3, 195, St
The ink has barely dried on the letters of intent that were signed Wednesday, but its not too early to look ahead to the class of 2014.
I have a feeling UF accepted his commitment subject to certain stipulations. UF has done this before, specifically with Tre Bell, who was told he could commitment with the understanding he had to come down in the summer and compete at our big summer camp. With Paul, I would imagine he's going to need to lose weight to keep a spot. If he's still 340+ in 6-7 months, I'd start to wonder if a "mutual decision" occurs to partways.
Dude absolutely needs to transform his body...for whoever he's going to play for.
