If LSU makes the Fiesta Bowl has anybody been to Glendale and is it a fun town/experience? I've been to the Cotton/Capital One/Sugar and would go back. The only trip I want to make sure would be worth it is the fiesta because it would likely be more expensive than the others.
I went there a few years ago and it is the worst venue for a bowl game I've ever attended. Glendale is located in the middle of nowhere--- everyboduy, including the teams, stays in Scootsdale which is a good 45 minute drive to Glendale. The Cotton Bowl is a lot better.
If you're a golfer though, that area is great to visit, particularly in winter. The golf might be pricey though.
I recommend staying in scotsdale... there are a million resorts, that are pretty decently priced. Stay in style... it's the way to go.
Thanks for sharing....Kind of sounds like my first experience at the Orange Bowl when it was still being played in the Orange Bowl.
Hey Guys if they come to Phoenix I will host a party for all of you who make it town I live 15 minutes from the stadium and let me tell you it's nice a lot to do in the area. Look me up if this comes to past I would like to meet some of you as I read everything but post very little. It would be a great time in AZ.
Wow....2 posts. I admire your restraint.
You offered. Now I am going to have to take you up on that....
