Record now this decade: 10-2 (2010), 13-0 (2011) and now 10-2 (2012). Double-digit wins the norm..
I know getting to at least 10 wins meant a lot to Miles and the guys this week, and they went out on the road against a hungry team on Senior Day and made it happen.
They have also hit double-digit wins in 6 of the last 8 seasons.

So.....what bowl do we go to?
It depends on the several games that haven't been played yet.
"That was Death Valley. It's where opponent's dreams come to die." - Miles
Yay, they beat an unranked team by 6 that everbody else blew off the field. including Miss state who just hung 45 on them last week.
Yet another underachieving season for Miles and staff.
Sorry, I don't see the silver lining after another season of watching our west Rival play for a title due to Miles incompetence at play calling and personnel adjustments, or lack thereof.
Either he hires an OC or he needs to go out with the current impersonator of an OC.
Still that outside shot at SEC Championship with Auburn > Alabama and Texas A&M > Missouri.
If Georgia wins over Alabama in Atlanta and Notre Dame beats USC, then it would get interesting to see where LSU falls.
“There is no off switch on a tiger”
Didn't LSU blow out MSU?
Most wins with the same team among all active coaches
3 double digit win seasons in a row
Yeah, Miles is incompetent. Thank god this is counterbalanced by our brilliant fans.
Nice 3rd post, Rookie
Just showed how little you know about LSU and SEC football.
Tell me, who would you prefer as head coach at LSU?
Actually, I believe the pre-season consensus for the fans on the sites I saw had LSU at 9-3 or 10-2.
We could have been a 7-4 or a 12-0 - we made great plays, we blew assignments.
This was Arkansas's bowl game. Football is a crazy game.
10-2 won't get the ticket to the NC but it is anything but underachieving.
BTJ in disguise.....um wait more than one sentance....hmm...I think its you Jimmy The sarcasm seals the deal.Come on out here and revel in Miles sucess!

It's sad when LSU "fans" hope to see failure just so they can earn internet credibility.
It should be painlessly easy to see that the Tigers perservered through the injuries of Faulk, Blue, Williford, Muncie, Reid, Loston and more.
They defeated how many top 20 teams on the way to 10-2. This is a tired team from a physically and emotionally draining season.
Fortunately, the offense was able to mature and offset some of the problems of having many young players on the field.
Looking around the conference - I see stability, and competiveness at LSU.
Those brilliant fans aren't on the mind of Miles.
we won by 7, not 6 retard......and what those other guys said......33-4 the last three seasons, thats just terrible
I really hope a new offensive "mind" is put in the mix next year. No confidence in Miles shoving Stud out the door (or any other major program hiring Stud) so just hope Stud can get a HC job at a no -BCS school and/or Kragthorpe eases into administration,
Nevamind, didn't realize we were talking only regular season. My bad.

Goodness you can't blow out everyone.. A win on the road in the SEC is a WIN.
People will always find a way to complain about something.
I swear most people just started watching LSU in '03.. Remember the 90's? Be happy, another 10 win season.. After going UNDEFEATED in the regular season last year.. But we didn't win pretty enough so the sky is falling.
Did you know that LSU has played the most or 2nd most freshmen in the entire country? Try to find another team as young as ours to play at the level LSU plays.
Yet you trash talk Miles and "LES_MILES" is your username.

Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
The last time LSU played this many freshmen, it quickly led to a team that was talented enough to get to the national championship in the following season. Seems like this may be the case again except Mettenberger will be at QB next season instead of JefferLee.
The bad has been set real high at LSU where championships are expected but when you come up short I think you have to look at the big picture.
The stat that Shea tossed out is impressive but another one that I think is perhaps even more impressive is the fact that LSU leads the nation, along with Boise State, for the longest streak of seasons with at least 8 wins at 13 in a row. LSU has won at least 8 games every year since 2000.
Now, ask yourself, would you rather be in Austin? How about at USC or in Ann Arbor? What about Tallahassee or Auburn, Ala?
All of those schools have the same type of tradition and expectations as LSU. But, none have had the same level of success as LSU and Les Miles.

Soooo, What you're saying guys is that you are happy with another unfinished season in which Miles once again Meddled with the play calling, therefore, the offense stumbled and bumbled along like they are clueless, again.
Pardon me If I expect a little better given the fact that he has among the best facilities, fans, fertile recruiting grounds, and is paid among the best.
A decent OC would fix a lot, but not if he meddles and won't let him do his job.
Congrats on 10-2 in his 8th season.
You will never enjoy football with unrealistic expectations. You can't win an MNC every season.
