If these guys were offered Grey Shirts, does that mean LSU anticipates they will accept?
See link to NOLA.COM story...
My giuess is if the numbers work, depending on who falls by the wayside academically or who defects, Carter will have a schollie.
I like Carter and hope we can get him in the LSU fold.
The way I see it is as the staff letting both Carter and Riley know that they're wanted while also keeping the numbers for this class open at the current time in case everything works out the way the staff wants. What that means is that if we land everyone they want then they're fine and if Carter and/or Riley want in for '14 then even better. Just a way of giving the kids the option of staying home and also showing the interest in the kids
I want duke in this class. He's a hell of a player
I think in most years, both Riley and Carter would be takes. For some strange reason, there is all of a sudden a boom in LA linebacker and TE prospects after many years of mediocre talent at those positions.

I think Cethan Carter gets offered a full scholly late in the game after we miss on someone.

I think so too with all of these academic risks committed.
I agree as well.
