Rivals top 100 players in Texas for 2014. Tony Brown is #1 and the only 5 Star.
Paris is the 10th best prospect in the state?
Hardeman drops from 12 to 31
Simmons drops from 20 to 35
BUT, they've got Jamal Adams at #15 and John Bonney ahead at 26.
Maybe Bonney ahead of Hardeman, I'll let that one slide, but Jamal ahead of Paris...

You can tell how obvious it is that Orangebloods made these rankings when Darrion Johnson, is rated No. 2 in the state while 24/7 has him 58th. Who is his top offer? Texas
Jerrod Heard at 5th is a joke, and Derick Roberson at 7th is a joke as well. Another surprise: they have Nick Watkins, who 24/7 has at 5th, at 37, 11 spots behind Bonney. Why you ask? Because it looks like he is Bama bound and had some things to say about Texas earlier in the year.
That Texas rankings list is a joke

This list is created by a Longhorn website, so it will have a strong UT bias.
Darrion Johnson (UT lean) is a stud and I love his film, but any non-bias site would have Ed Paris ranked higher.
It's actually funny that every Aggie commit slipped from their previous ranking.
Not just any Texas website, Ketchum's website. No f$%#s should be given about this list. I'd look at the actual Rivals rankings before paying any mind to Ketchum's list. Suprised Knox wasn't ranked #1. Must be the fact that he's not pleased with the "no visit" policy Mack is trying to employ now.
It's funny that Mack even thinks he has that power to imply a policy like that. He should be doing everything in his power to keep the kids he has. I have a feeling that Mack is going to "retire" after this season
Granted, this is a homer listing, and that makes it suspect. But just perusing the list of 100 players, it reminds me again that we are missing a bet if we are not strong in TX. I love seeing Tony Brown #1, and Paris and Hardeman right up there. We are after some good players!
With the decline of the Big 12 (specifically UT) and the SEC footprint now in Texas, LSU should be able to pull 5 stud recruits out of Texas on an annual basis.
IMO- Texas recruiting is one of the biggest advantages LSU has over Bama and the key to LSU restoring order against the Tide.
Ketchum : "LSU better watch the hell out when it comes to Frank Herron"
Idiot that sunshine pumps Texas commits and punishes kids who dont pray at the alter of UT.

Reminds me of a certain A&M writer and why we are lucky to have two writers like Shea and Sonny who don't sunshine pump
Proud to support everything Louisiana
I admit to using the LSR list when it originally comes out before jr film hits and rankings/buzz starts coming out for a point of interest to know who to be on the lookout for. Only as a baseline though.
Is this Jason Howell's list or is this from Orangebloods?
That's about as biased as TOS' rankings for LA in 2013.
And one common denominator
