I am devastated by this. I agree with all...some of the worst news I have ever gotten.
Apparently there are still family members who haven't been notified yet, so please be sensitive to that if you happen to be friends with him or them on Facebook or Twitter. Some close to the family are asking that we hold back for a while on posts, messages etc. I was unaware of this and wish that I would've waited. Just a heads up.

R.I.P. Diggs. Used to read all his posts on another site. Very good poster.
RIP Diggs... You will be missed buddy
Speechless. RIP Diggs. The guy was a gentleman and handled himself with class. What a terrible day for everyone the guy has influenced.
Prayers are sent for his family. As a fellow coach, I understand the passion this great man had for helping develop young people of character.
While his posts were always some of the highlights of my time on TSD, I came to appreciate the incredible man of integrity that he was.
Heaven's gain is our loss.
Vianney High School,
Pass Game Coordinator,
Varsity QB & RB Coach,
Saint Louis, MO.
Diggs loved the game of football, recruiting, coaching etc.
What I was always impressed with is that he cared about more than just the kids that signed with LSU, or other Top 25 programs for that matter. He enjoyed breaking kids down of all skill levels and watching and coaching.
He was a good judge of character. A stand up guy who would not break his balls or his word for just anyone. Hindsights always 20/20, but I wish we could have gotten to know each other better.
I pray that the Lord keeps him and holds his family close in their time of grieving.

A tragic loss of a very good man.
My heartfelt prayers are with his family.
May he truly rest in peace.
This is a tough loss to take as many of us included Diggs in the TSD gang of long time contributors. Terrible news and a tragedy to lose such a good person.
RIP Diggs, you will be missed.
Regards to All,
He will be sorely missed........my deepest sympathy for all immediate and extended family members.
Not the first time I met someone through an LSU site.....became friends......only never to meet them....
then something tragic happens and they're gone.................
you can recruit in sports to replace a player on the roster....
in day to day real life.....you never replace them.....just remember the person for who they were.....
RIP Diggs !!!
See you on the other side brother. We'll coach the same team someday and I know you will look down on all of us under those Friday night lights.
@TM7_Era:Freshmen year ?I went HAM! Sophomore year I went HAMMER! junior year? ONLY LORD CAN SAVE EM
RIP Diggs. This is very sad news about a very good person. Prayers go out to his family.
really sad to hear this news, prayers to his family.
best sight on earth
Am very saddened to learn of Diggs passing. He was generous and forthright in everything he did.
And he was a loyal, thoughtful, good friend to so many of us here. May he rest in peace; my prayers are for his family.
Diggs is gone - it's hard to think that is so - he is a loss to all of us.
