Many of us defected here but I did the boneheaded move of waiting to cancel until renewal and missed by a day. Scout will not refund my $99 despite the fact that the card was charged today.
I'm stuck but hope nobody else gets stuck and this is the time most autorenew. She offered no sympathy and I promised to remind others to cancel. I would love them to have enough cancellations to notice but mostly nobody else gets stuck.
pay the 35.00 stop payment at your bank! save ya few bucks! report it then to the better business bureau! they will not want you to report this, trust me
Good heads-up. I renew in April but I am gonna call and make sure that they got my cancellation when I first got on here.
I miss RR. We were the best of friends.
Haha me too. Things were pretty sad around there with him in charge in my opinion...
I cancelled my sub 6 weeks before renewal on scout. Couple days later I was not allowed to log in ( I wanted to use what I already paid for) but kept kicking me to the order a subscription page . What a bunch of azzholes.

I'm going to call my credit card company and see if I have recourse. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said she was the supervisor and that her supervisor dust speak to customers.
I still say the law should be you can cancel by the means you registered. I registered online but have to call during business hours to cancel? Real convenient.
Sportsman..have you tried contacting your credit card company. I had same experience as the other poster. Canceled before time and they shut me off too. They've already destroyed the site...what goes around, comes around, or vicer versa. Sorry ....little late on my advice..Good luck!

I've got you all beat! The bastards waited until my script auto-renewed and then after a week or so they banned me indefinitely! That was last September and in spite of repeated attempts to get an explanation, no one ever replied! Good luck because my credit card company said there was nothing they could do. And I'm still banned! Scout and TSD are a bunch of pricks as far as I'm concerned!

Tried to call and cancel rivals after fiasco but they are in Alabama and were closed before I got off work in CA. Will call first thing tomorrow.

I went through the same thing with them. I eventually got my money back., but it took almost 3 months. I only did the 7day free trial and the trial ended on a Friday. I called to cancel but no one answered. By Monday morning they had already charged my card $99. I called and was told I couldn't get my money back. I argued but to no avail at that time. I just continued to call until I found someone who would do it. Then it took 3 months for my card to be credited. Feel bad for Mike Coppage.
Anybody have the number handy ,want to make sure they cancel mine . Think it renews in march .... thanks
Well we are still stuck in Baton Rouge but going back to the homeland for good in March. If you're ever up that way, look us up!
Today it's a high of three back home. Sad thing is........I miss that weather.
As to scout, they once suckered me into two simultaneous subscriptions and I could never get out of it until the one expired......

I would cancel for you bro, but I jumped that sinking ship quickly.
I think the new guys are doing a good job over there and that's not meant to take anything away from the oustanding job that S/S do over here.
I don't mean to knock new guys. Just alert folks who may have abandoned without canceling. I fully realize I should have cancelled autorenewal when I left. I'm on the fence on keeping TB but 3 pay sites is too many.
No problem...I am a member of three sites so I can certainly understand your dilemma...
