Seeing BAMA potentially winning 3/4 and LSU becoming an afterthought as far as a BCS era dynasty with all we have accomplished isn't sitting well with me. I feel like we might see a mass exodus of underclassman(on the defensive side) to the draft including some guys we may not expect. Not because the events of tonight, but just that they feel like they should go pro. I feel like if they can find it in themselves to come back one year, we could have something special. Have y'all heard anything?

Seriously? I completely disagree, kids will still come and stay at LSU to compete for championships
Talking about current players, not recruits.
I know, that's why they stay at LSU
It doesn't sit well with anybody, but it is unlikely to make a difference at all with current players. If it does it will likely be positive as players think how close we were to beating them and want another crack at it. Still, my guess it has no bearing at all.

I don't know about this year but I firmly believe we lost a few last year due to the BCS debacle.
If thats the case then Logan, Montgomery and Mingo would of left like Brockers did.
It certainly didn't help with Reuben Randle. Different dynamic this year though.
Please read the OP.....
I've heard from a player that a couple of defensive players who had hoped to jump to the NFL and then had disappointing seasons haven't exactly been giving great effort in the classroom.
Really disappointing. They seemed checked out at times on the field as well.
Easy, I think Mingo, Montgomery and Ware made the decision before this season they were leaving, whether we finished 14-0 or 7-6. The DEs both had very high draft projections before the season and I think Mintgomery's knee injury had him wanting to get a contract in case it ever happened again. With Ware I think he knows his running style wears the tread off the tires pretty fast and he might as well maximize his earning potential as soon as he can.
If anyone would be effected by a perceived disappointment and a want to atone it would be Reid and Minter. Neither are off the chart athletes, more cerebral types, and could be true senior leaders should they return.
With Simon, I wonder if he made a decision before this season started academically that he can't reverse. No way is he NFL ready.
On the defensive side, I think Montgomery and Mingo made their decisions to leave before the year started. I'd be shocked if either stayed in school.
I think Logan has hinted more than once that he's gone, but his grade may fall more than any other LSU defensive player outside of Simon, who is also a question mark for me.
I think your game changer is Minter. If he's on next year's team, the linebacker group will be insanely talented, and he will bring along the young guys nicely.
