I looked on the Blue Board and this is one topic I found: "Phil Steele Chooses LSU over South Carolina" (link is: http://247sports.com/Board/30/Phil-Steele-choose-LSU-over-South-Carolina-12989937/1)
The poster, BL9, claims first, "I agree with this...I don't think USCe is near as good as people say but LSU is just not very good either and there is chaos in the camp. A lot of dissension among the team."
Then, after I call him out on his statement, he responds with this: "I know a lot of people within the LSU program and I can tell you from first hand knowledge that there is dissension among the team. It started last year after the program changing loss in NOLA. Coaches against coaches, players against players."
This is more for fun that anything else but...what the hell is he talking about? Thanks. Haha.

I don't think he's incredibly off-base. It's obvious there was dissension in the staff and players after the Alabama loss. Players who graduated and now don't have to stay tightlipped have all said it.
I think it's fair to say, for whatever reason, that this team hasn't meshed like teams of the past. Perhaps it is a personality thing. Maybe it's just the pressure of the program.
I think Tharold Simon's quote last week summed it up well. I am paraphrasing, but he said the mood in the locker room isn't exciting like it was last year, and a lot of the guys don't hang out as a team anymore after games, etc. At least not like they did in previous years, per Simon.
"I guess you've just gotta find something you love to do and then... do it for the rest of your life." - Max Fisher
I know some people inside the Bama program. When we beat them in November, there will dissension on his team!
Shea, this, if true, is something a team called meeting could address.
I'm somewhat skeptical about this assertion but I wouldn't dismiss it either.
There's pressure in every program major program. This is a team leadership and coaching issue - it doesn't take a rocket scientist to address it or change it.
Next question for Simon, what are you doing or willing to do about it?
Please divulge into what was said and please list which current or former coaches or players who would fall into the dissension category.....

Proud to support everything Louisiana
do not give a second thought to anything BL9 says. he's well known to LSU fans on another board. he lives in Lafayette, he went to ULL, he knows absolutely no one within LSU. 3 weeks ago he was saying LSU would go 14-0 (screencap below), now he says the teams been tearing itself apart for 9 months.
ignore him. hes a sad little loser who enjoys annoying strangers on a message board.
Thanks, I am doing just that. I was born and raised in Lafayette and am now working in Lafayette. Your characterization of him makes so much sense now. There are a large number (not all) of UL-L fans that just resent LSU for no real valid reason.
