Word is he is interested in visiting LSU again, Might want to give him a call and see what's up. Especially since we already have Rettig and Jennings.
When ESPN 300 quarterback and Auburn commitment Jeremy Johnson (Montgomery, Ala./Carver) found out that AU head coach Gene Chizik had been fired, he immediately called his friend and teammate, 2014 Watch List linebacker Shaun Hamilton.
“He called me as soon as it happened,” Hamilton said. “He was like, ‘What are we going to do?’ I said, ‘I need to be asking you that. I’ve got one more year to think about it.’ We’re going to see what we’re going to do.”
Hamilton said Johnson has already been looking at LSU and Ole Miss and that he will probably visit both schools in the near future, once their seasons wrap up.

There is no need for 3 qbs in this class IMO
And if they even flirt with Johnson they would put themselves in danger of losing what they already have in my opinion.
some highlights of Jeremy from this season. This is against Reuben Foster's team.

Haha that's hilarious. He's basically like "that sounds like your problem dude."
He was high on the board in the beginning but LSU is very happy with the two coming in, especially with them enrolling in a little more than a month.
Johnson is a very talented athlete at quarterback and would be an ideal choice if we only had one or no quarterbacks committed to us but thats just not the case as of today. We have two quality character guys who are both talented in their own right who have stood by this program and agreed to come into the same class together. In no way should the coaches even entertaine the idea of Jeremy Johnson coming to LSU at this point unless Jennings or Rettig came to the coaches and said they were having doubts and wanted to look around. Neither of our two guys have ever said anything close to that and have been nothing but supportive and key players in the recruitment of other prospects.
Having watched a number of games thoughout the year of Jennings and Rettig I can tell you that we are getting two phenomenol recruits who are the ideal leaders a program would want leading their team into the future. Screwing up and making these two guys feel as though they are less important with Jeremy Johnson being brought into the fold would be a monumental blunder by the staff.

Agree. Once they saw a healthy Rettig and an interested Jennings, they moved on from Johnson. With both guys enrolling early, this QB class is a big plus for the staff.

USC fans are already getting jelly about Rettig and losing him to LSU. Good thing they have Brown in this class. I think he's still the better QB, but am happy to have a pro-style guy like Rettig who might make some big strides in the development category, at least more so than a player like Johnson would have.
