cdub, sorry you feel this way I'm on this board every day I'm not fishing. This is the first time I have seen any information that was posted by the OP. I just couldn't grasp why CRob the guy that has been recruited by LSU from the time he stepped foot on a FB field suddenly was all Bama. Last year I was under the impression that he would have been one of LSU first commitments. Now he favoring the other guys over the home team. The OP turned on a flood light and I was able to understand what is going on with CRob.
Queue the bama and saban apologists just about now...
Thanks LSU Minden for shedding some light on this Bama recruiting tactic. You`re not going to fight these guys using the Marquess of Queensberry Rules. Nah, they`re more back alley, behind your back kinda guys. Manipulating recruiting rules and working the back room to ensure an advantageous schedule is how the Tide really rolls.
How`s the old saying go...you have to fight fire with fire.
Ya lucky I went and checked. Bans automatically set for a month now. I thought I set it for 3 mins, but no you was banned for a month and 3 mins. Hahaha
Is Bama beating our ass using local handlers for extremely important recruits not LSU-related?
Gimme a break. Keep your head in the sand if you like. Some of us don't mind reality. Negative stuff has to get dealt with by someone...
LSU has a chance every year to show they can compete with Bama in recruiting . The best way to do this is outplay them on the national stage (and this yearly game IS the national stage now) and beat them. They haven't done it in the last two games they've played so we are seeing the interest of our recruiting class darlings in Louisiana's (and other states) class look elsewhere and toward the team that wins everything when given the opportunity...
The best way to do change this perception is to have the players presently recruited on the premise their next step is the NFL, NOT mail it in against lesser opponents, and pretty much not give a particular damn once they lose to Alabama in lieu of protecting their draft "value"...
The best way to do this is to come up with a game plan to win and to OUT COACH the other team rather than expect them to roll over to your greatness or to play a "hope they don't score on this prevent defense" mindset when it counts.
If LSU wants to be the place everybody...EVERYBODY wants to be recruited to, then how them winning one this year...and next year... and any mulligans the Tide will be the beneficiary of when the playoff system comes in effect.
At some point..It comes down to the field of play. That is the ultimate perception and last look everyone gets, especially recruits, until the back-door recruiters with bragging rights whisper in their ears...
and the beat goes on... .

Regards to All,
Proud to support everything Louisiana
Scoot, you know bans don't take on Daigle. He has some kind of kryptonite that just sheds them off. Even permanent bans, automatic bans, and super secret bans.
It's funny how bama has been giving high school coaches kick-backs for years and have paid the price for it, like the Albert Means situation. But now it's pretty clear that Saban has used his puppet Mark Emmert to essentially legalize these tactics by allowing bama to offer hs coaches jobs and other incentives to deliver their star players to bama.
The way that guy has manipulated and corrupted the entire system all the way down to the scheduling practices by the SEC offices is pretty sickening. Getting a mulligan in that championship game put everyone involved with hs football in this region on notice that Saban and his REC have taken over.
All of these coaches, teachers, mentors or whatever they are to these kids are just trying to get on board because they are profiting from it. It's really sad how cheap and disgusting this system has become under the corrupt leadership of the great Mark Emmert.

It's that damn Cajun in him
Minden's input is real, guys.
And, no, I don't wear a tinfoil hat. I have been tracking this thing for a while because it just did not make sense.
And did anyone who saw that Facebook pic notice that both of those guys were not only wearing Bama shirts, but also what appeared to be identical gold watches.
And since Guice is in the middle of a 1-year suspension, where do you think his income is coming from?
The victim here is Cameron Robinson.
And the only problem with this thread is the title, which probably caused a bunched of guys, who probably didn't even read the original post, along with the links, before deciding to take shots at Minden.
Obama"s already done that.
So little time, so much to do
trashoffers, thanks for the Yahoo Sports link pertaining to NCAA enforcement crisis. No wonder Nick`s running wild.
Bama and the REC cheats and the liberal media deifies them; shocking
ALL SCHEDULES ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL
2013 BAMA GETS KY & TN; LSU GETS FL & GA. SEEMS FAIR (ROLLING EYES)
LSU = MOST SEC WINS SINCE 2010
Nice contribution wilbur.. Try lacing together a couple words in the form of a sentence that adds to the thread. I'd imagine that's tough for a bammer though. No go enjoy your fried corn dog and grape flavored hand stirred Kool-Aid.
Back to the OP. Well put together and thought provoking. Thanks for the time in putting the post together and for sharing with all of us.
This sounds like the worst recruiting violation scam in the history of college football.....
Well said LScootU, and I am a Bama fan. Let the man talk, or type if you will.
Nick Saban has always been the best at working within the rules at creating a competitive advantage for his team. He did that at LSU and has mastered that at Alabama. I have to believe that unless others work to exploit the loopholes in the rules, Nicky will continue to out-recruit all others. As much as I hate to say it, Lane Kiffin leaving the SEC made Bama stronger. Kiffin was willing to get dirty to challenge Saban for recruits.
