Mack Brown has had 3 losing seasons, just lost to K State big. The Longhorn herd is getting restless. TAM has burst on to the scene with a much better than expected performance in the tough SEC. Plus, they have a potential Heisman winner and they are stealing the U of Texas's thunder, severly bruising their giant sized ego. The Longhorns are no longer the # 1 team in the great state of Texas....Throw in TCU, Texas Tech, & Baylor and they may even be number 3 or 4. Now, if Mack loses his bowl game, their egos are going to take another big hit. Might it be the end of Mack? If so, who will come to the rescue? Someone with an ego the same size as the state of Texas? Someone who could possibily win back to back national titles at his present job.....someone whose ego whispers in his ear "hey coach, you've won a BCS title at one major U.... 2 at your present major U,.. what's left to do here....let's go to another major program and make it 3. No coach has ever done that! You will go down as the greatest college coach in history!" It's even rumored he doesn't like the area he lives in now and he does have his $10 million mansion on the market at present.....Can you name that coach who could be called to the rescue?.....sure you can.
