Trey has been invited to play in the Under Armour All American Game.
Maybe if he continues to dominate everyone he goes against he will get bumped up to a top 10 receiver? I mean, is doing this at an all-star setting the only thing he has left to do?

I just want to see him do it at LSU. I could give a crap how these clowns rank him.
Agree these analysts don't really know shit from a hill of beans. Hell I know scouts regional director played soccer through high school and never even played football. WTF. Quinn dominated 5 star DBs at camp and analysts have seen him go over 300 yards and take over a high school game, yet when questioned they say well let's see if he can do it at an all star game. My question is why? Why can't you properly evaluate a guy after seeing him 4 or more times.

Congrats to Trey; well-deserved honor!
Congratulations! Thank you for the info.
Great to hear. Congrats to him!
Looking forward to what he does in 2013 with Fontenot coming back too. Hope they both stay healthy & put up some big numbers in what should be another good year.
I think Quinn will get a late bump like Jarvis Landry did when they realize that his play-making abilities is too hard to ignore.

He's the 3rd ranked WR in La which is where most think he should be so I can assure you he has been properly evaluated by us since we handle La ratings and rankings for the most part. Gerry Hamilton and JC, who handle the Top 247 position rankings, have not seen him in person so just hang tight.
I agree, he's not better than Noil and Dupre and I think he's being ridicously overhyped by our fanbase. I'd take Dupre then Noil (just due to height) and then Quinn. There are several recruits in this class interested in LSU that are just as good or better than Quinn.
So are guys only properly ranked once those two have seen them? Do y'all not have a network of guys that evaluate and report to the higher ranked guys and they can trust their evals?
Your opinion is much appreciated. I do not beleive that those that were in attendance of the LSU camp would share your opinion though. All three competed side by side. I would not call doing what he has done for three years at the 5A level "hype".........nor what he did at LSU camp.
We do have a chain of command and they do take our input into consideration and when it comes to Louisiana they trust us very much. Quinn has been evaluated by us in person and on tape numerous times and on film by Gerry and JC. They feel comfortable with where they have him right now and I feel very comfortable with where he is in Louisiana right now.
From looking at where he is in the Composite relative to what we have him at it looks like it's pretty close across the board.
You guys know how highly I think of Trey so I'm not sure how or why we have slacked on him and have slighted him?
im not even saying his ranking is unjust, because Dupre is hands down the top WR in La in my mind anyways. I just dont like the reasoning ive heard numerous times on Quinn in that well lets see what he can do at the all star games, when he has been evaluated plenty. IMO hes a quicker/faster version of Jarvis that may not block quite as well, but has more athleticism.
Why are you guys so worried about where he is ranked? Does that 5th or 3rd star change what Quinn is capable of?
I get everyone wanting to have the #1 class and all but in the end we know who we want to take in the state and he's one of them. Lets get him on campus with the rest of our targets. In the end, if you're not holding a crystal ball then none of this matters anyway. Screw the stars and just focus on the offer list and film.
It's the nature of where we are - if you're not number one, you've either been screwed or you're crap.
Unrealistic expectations in the age of video game football.
Anything less than 40 points a game and 400 yards passing is lame....
You guys do an awesome job, Sonny. Amazing how accurate you are in an industry that tries to artfully anticipate the mental and physical commitment of kids....
A couple days in a camp setting, huh? Well I could just as easily point to the weekend in the Dome last December where Quinn was completely MIA in an actual game, the biggest of his season, and the other two kids ahead of him showed out, especially Noil. One day isn't a determining factor. I'm not saying the kid is no good and I think we should take him, but if he chose to go elsewhere I think we have several other interested prospects just as good or better at the position...regardless, it's a good 'problem' to have.

Yes, Rummel did a great job on Barbe. You may want to check the Dome stat sheets on all three of them before making a statement like that, you might be surprised and wish to recant that statement about who was "showing out" in the dome. Congrats to all three on their respective careers, they all deserve the accolades and offers!
