Bama will be 12-0.
Throughout the game everyone around our group couldn't believe some of the calls on offense. If we have such great RBs why can't we line up on 4th and 1 and run right at them? We lost, guys. I keep seeing, oh, but we played great. Yeah, that's what Kentucky says when they almost win. We have so much talent all over the field, especially D and we make some of the most boneheaded calls I've ever seen.
We pulled out all the stops we had..fake FG, onside kick, 4th down putting Ware in...Loss.
We played Towson extremely close, Auburn really close, FL really close, A&M really close, Bama really close, SC really close. Can we not be a well conditioned team that plays lights out for 4 qtrs and stays focused?
LSU is undisciplined and it is blatantly obvious every time we take the field.
Be Here Now
Has anybody else played Bama close? No, not in two years. We actually did throw on first occassionally and it didn't work. I agree we need to throw more on 2d down after a 4 yrd gain on 1st. I think it was a good game plan especially once Mett got in a rhythm and the WR started catching the ball.
Far different from Kentucky being happy to play well. I am not happy we lost. I've gained a lot of perspective after last years debacle and I refuse to be down for days. I also believe we found an offense last night and the future is bright. We finally got the balanced offense we've been looking for and it was against Bama, not Towsen. Mett is no where near ready to jump to NFL so he'll have the off season to get better and next year we can finally play a solid year of offense again. I don't like the defense at the end of half and game but I trust Chief to fix it and sure think the calls for his dismissal or worse are vast overreactions when we are annually a top defense.
You say we pulled out all the stops and we lost. My biggest gripe is we didn't need to take some of those chances, particularly FG fake and going on 4th. If we'd stood toe to toe instead of a couple tricks we win.
Disagree on almost every point. Waste of time to tear apart the OP.

Offense playcalling was good enough to win... questionable field goal decisions and 2 minute defense lost this game
