why not ?
No thank you would rather try to get 2014 kids than fill up this class. The only guys I would hold a spot for are Leslie, Gardner, Burns and Carter. Nothing against Riley or Carter but if they were a priority they would have been offered scholarships not greyshirts. I'll take my chances on bigger stars in 2014 and call it a 2013 class.
I think you're going to start to see some movement on those fronts if things don't start to develop more on the out-of-state front in the next few days.
Certainly have nothing at all against Riley or Carter, and if the staff takes them, either greyshirt or full ride for '13, I'll be happy. But before we do anything, I hope the coaches ask whether we can get better and more players in '14 than these two by holding these spots open, and just how good we are if we stand pat, even without Cutrer. But I would be happy to have both if the coaches decide to go that way.
2014 may be a challenge in recruiting if we do not have better offensive production because the defense will be less effective. Also the schedule is a beast. Maybe 9-3 or 8-4 with a lower teir bowl game is not going to attract the cream of the crop. Just sayin. If there is room, take these guys now if they are SEC caliber guys.
