We all know there is a ridiculous class of db's out there all with intrest in lsu. I see 8 potential guys out there as strong lsu leans.
Paris, simmons, hardeman, adoree jackson, alexander, brown, jones, voorhies. With the scholarship limitations and position numbers I dont know if we can have all these kids at db ( although I wouldnt mind having all of them there if there is a way ) the question is who on this list can play other postitions. I have heard voorhies name at wr before and adoree is so ridiculously athletic I think he could move as well if needed but the wr class is also deep. Do we take them all? I would hate to have to send some of this insane talent else where.
With the insane amount of talent at WR for 2014 too, I think you're going to see a couple of those 8 just falling in the "can't take em all" category.
Paris-Safety all the way
Simmons-may not be a take but safety all the way
Brown-CB that could play S
Hardeman-CB probably the slot guy
Alexander-likely left out
Voorhies-S or WR
Jones-Safety but could play CB
Jackson-CB but he could play many spots including RB and WR. Just a great all around athlete. Lot of the Oregon kid Thomas in him.
Something else to think about is Speedy Noil may be the best CB prospect of the bunch.
I'd say expect a class of
Then you have guys like
Simmons ( does he follow Paris and is the staff going to really press)
Alexander, any other year he has an offer, I'd love to see a greyshirt here
Adoree, how many eggs do they want to put in the basket for a guy all the way in Cali and risk another kid closer to home.
Then you have some other fairly high ranked guys in Tx and Fl who like LSU a lot but I think by the time we come around to offering if we miss out on some of the first 5 listed we may be late to the party. I think the staff presses to get Tony Brown and Ed Paris in the class in the next month, then go all out for Laurence Jones and then look to fill the last spot with Simmons, Alexander or Adoree.
I don't mean to be a Debbie downer, but for some reason I have a bad feeling about landing Jones.
I really think not taking alexander would be a mistake he may be the 2nd best pure corner of the group he is a stud
Proud to support everything Louisiana
I wouldn't be surprised, but I think we get him. But if we don't, this is the year it would be ok.
I won't be surprised at all if you see Terrence Alexander and Jermaine Roberts battling for a spot at camp and going head-to-head.
I remember Tyrann Mathieu and Toney Hurd doing that exact thing at the July Camp and Mathieu was what knocked Hurd out of the picture for good.
who do you see the class ending up with at DB?
Hardeman - nickel
or do you see Adoree Jackson holding a spot if he wants in? Either way that class is ridiculous considering it consists of the best player in Ms, two best players in Tx and Jones on the cusp of being a 5 star, not to mention the possibility of Jackson.
I think the first 5 you mentioned is certainly possible but that 6th spot is up for grabs. Will also be interesting to see what happens with Voorhies in terms of projecting a position goes by the staff.
Good Lord what a glittering display of potential Tiger DB's!!! DBU indeed..
If Adoree wants to come, he will be taken and room will be made. He can play where ever the team needs him. The first thing I would do is put the ball in his hands on special teams and let him dictate a game with it.
Everything said above about Alexander is true and he is a definite future fine player for someone. I don't remember such a plethora of DB's in one class as this. LSU can lose 2-3 off that list and there will be someone else with potential to be a star for LSU to take their place. That is one overloaded bunch of great athletes. And they apparently all like LSU. Wow...
Sometimes, I think back on the generations of great and not so great times of LSU and I think I am very thankful to have this program and university standing where it is for quite a lengthy run of great athletes to enjoy watching progress and grow into impact players at this level... and beyond.
The classes '13 and '14 is going to insure more of some great times for all of us who love this program for several more years to come.

Regards to All,
Hootie will follow Diarse to LSU IMO. Cameron will be a bigger battle than Hootie.
Hopefully Cameron (Robinson) will team up with Cameron (Sims) to play under Cam Cameron lol
That's a lot of Cameron's.....I'm going with 2 of the 3:)
