    Chevis is a 3-4 olb or an LSU speed DE. I think he is kinda like Mingo.

    He did say he had interest in LSU but I don't think we have contacted him.

    Not sure if this is credible or not. The kid is fast though. 4.38 40 time.

    Another speedster is Ryan Green who was supposedly offered last weekend.
    Would love for him to be our RB this year but we should have stiff competition from the Big 3.

    We've been on Ryan Green for a long time now. He visited last year and is visiting again the 24th. I think FSU/ND are the leaders for Green. Also Hunter Bivin was scheduled to visit Saturday, but his bball team upset the #1 team in KY tonight. So they'll be playing Saturday now. A lot of us had Bivins on commitment watch. It's pretty well known he is favoring ND. He grew up a fan of ND. He's been on campus 3-5 times already and was bringing his mom for her first visit. Another person heavily involved is his Coach he visits every school with Bivins and is a huge ND fan.

    Bivin said his dream school was ND so I am not even worried about him and LSU.

    I don't think we will recruit either of those Fla kids hard. They are the recruits that you offer and then realize there is a lot of competition and drop out.

  • I figured Melvin Jones to be similar to Chevis. Possible MLB, possible DL, but could also play fullback a la JC Copeland. Interesting they offered Chevis ahead of Jones.
