One thing that I believe would get this class jump started is if the staff could get Fournette to commit. This class needs an alpha(5*) recruit to pull the trigger. I believe that as soon as some of these 5* kids commit the ball will start rolling. Maybe even get a kid like CR to reconsider with the idea of putting a #1 class together made up of LA kids. I know it was kind of corny, but UGA sold that "dream team" deal a couple of years ago and held on to some in state talent.
Don't think that'll happen, because LF pretty much calls his shots with LSU. We didn't take any RBs last year, and while most think he's a lock (including myself), he isn't committing til January. I think the reality is that this stacked year in LA doesn't have as many pro-LSU guys as we thought. Even guys like A Jones, a relative unknown in 2012 that should be jumping at an LSU offer, is slow-playing us. Kind of baffling.

Time may be our best hope for now. Obviously he has given the Tide more time and attention this year. The only thing we can hope for is that the sprakle begins to fade and momma keeps working her boy to stay home.
It's June - things are always fluid. LSU will continue to recruit Robinson.
The long term solution is to face down Alabama, win, and keep winning. We've been the only SEC team to threaten them over recent years and we should have had a victory last year.
Posters are using the Robinson recruitment to beat down LSU here. One recruit doesn't define the recruting season. We've just watched LSU reach down in the pile and pull out Chark when there are limited slots avaialble and plenty of so-called "fives" ahead of him. It's the kind of stuff I love.
Yea, it pisses me that we will lose Robinson. If Cameron wants to come to LSU and secure a championship there; he'll get one. If he likes the Bama Crimson, let him walk his ass over there. The north Louisana recruiting team from here looks like it needs an overhaul. I doubt any pissant notes from here contribute to anything to the obvious billboard neon that states "Help".
Way too early to STROKE OUT on this one. There's more WINS and DEFEATS on the horizon.
If he is 80-85% sure he wants to go to Bama then why not just go ahead and commit? Please dont drag this out just to pick Bama in the Army fricking all american game on National Tv.
