Like when the ball bounced up and hit Hairston in the arm nine yards into the 10 yards he needed to let the ball travel...
Tough loss for the Tigers, but boy did they leave everything out on the field. It's a young group that just played right with the best team in the country.

Not to nitpick because I am really upset about our fans arguing with each other tonight but imo our O-Lines was absolutely dominant tonight. We had one bad series but besides that, that is probably the best front 7 in the nation and we had over 400 yards on them. More positives from this loss than any win we have had all year outside of maybe South Carolina.

This is our best o-line combination for the entire season since Chris Faulk went down. I don't think this o-line is as good as the one last season. The one from a year ago seemed to have gelled better and was oozing with experience until the national championship game. Hurst was not 100% in that game and JJ's inability to keep the defense honest with his arm made life extremely hard on the front 5. To take a quote from Miles, these guys are not as good as the team from last season but they have potential to become better by the end of the season.

Question is... would you call it like you see it if you lost. I've been there, easy to come and say things when you win. The bottom line is... LSU is better than bama. You have Saban and won because of Les Miles decisions. We have an anchor on us and you have nitro.... and we still can beat you at any given time.
You're only here because you're waking up with a win that's going to add another trophy to your already full case. If we had half an incentive to win trophies, you would either staying on your board today or flaming over here. Go to your board.

Better? Please man. You played your best game of the year, we played our worst. You had an off week,a sub-par QB play the game off his life, and a bunch of WR catch EVERYTHING when they usually have multiple drops. AND you were playing at home at night. All this and you still lost.
We would beat you 4 out of 5 times and you just blew your 1 out of 5 chance.

Each half was a different game. Bama easily won and dominated the first half 14-3. Lsu won the second half 14-7. Many mistakes by both teams. What about bama's fumble on LSU's 10 yard line, or our fumbled punt return to set lsu up with great field position? To say Bama didn't make mistakes or play a bad game is completely wrong.

On paper this win makes no sense
