S/S: Trey Quinn and WR #'s

Sonny or Shea,
With Noil and Durpre being offered, where does Quinn stand with being offered? Is he a slow play? Does he land one this week or do they need to see even more? From reading from what you guys have said and watching him play for 2 years now, one would think he would have landed an offer. Looking at the roster, it does seem that LSU may be taking more than 2 for the '14 class though.
Just looking for clarification. Thanks.

Gotcha. Once these threads get to be 8-9 pages long, I sometimes lose track.
Especially with the Hardeman issues yesterday.

Ridiculous for a few different reasons. All in-state, all very good players, and because they're all different body types, they cover all the different WR spots.
It seems like with Gonzalez we were getting one WR type per year, either all possession guys or all slot guys, and no real big body guys. With Henry, it looks like we're going after everything in every class. But that is also a fucntion of the talent available in Louisiana as well.

Agree Project, you get the tall leaper in this group, you get the shorter/quicker slot guys, and you get a couple that can line up in the slot or out wide. This is a special group of WR's, all in state, talented, and should create some match up problems for the opposition if we can get them on board! The coaches have to be excited, I know us fans are!

Truly a great group of WR's in Louisiana in 2014, and with versatility - different strengths.
Noil is going to be one of the very best slot prospects in the country in 2014 IMO.

Agree that the WR haul of Noil, Dupre, Quinn, and Sims would be special. All things being equal, I like for us to go for the guys that really want to be Tigers. Don't know about any of these young men, although I've read that Quinn is very pro-LSU.

Noil and Quinn will both be Tigers. Sims will be a tiger if offered and Dupre, I don't know. I think he might be open.

No inside info, but I figure Dupre to be another LSU-Bama-USCw battle for a high major prospect from John Curtis, once he gets around a little more. Only I think we win it this time with Wilson and Henry on our side.

I would think having those guys to throw to would get Jennings and Rettig pretty excited too as well...
