LSU landed a big commitment on Saturday from Florida 2014 standout Kain Daub, ranked by 247 as the No. 1 linebacker in the class.
"I just committed to LSU," Daub said. "Coach (Les) Miles was excited."
Daub visited the Tigers on Friday, where his family was taken on a tour of the campus and facilities. They decided to extend their stay through Saturday, where Daub was able to compete with the Louisiana Bootleggers in 7-on-7 action on the LSU campus.
After the day's events, a meeting with Les Miles resulted in an unexpected end to his recruitment process.
More to come on this breaking news.
